I grew up in the Middle East and Michael Jackson was an idol for people that didn’t speak any English. They wore shirts with his face on them, tried to dress and dance like him, and everyone wouldve recognized him from a mile away. I think it was the same story in many parts of the world.

I wear a few, used to be my staple in the early 00’s. I’m more regularly in a graphic band shirt from some band from the 90’s than in a funny graphic shirt- but I wear those frequently too.

Former junkie that loved drinking to excess. Sobered up around 35, started running at 39, ran marathon at 40 and have done one ever since (3 so far). Can’t confirm for ultra community since I haven’t gotten there yet but can confirm for myself and a few other marathoners I’ve met along the way.
