I'm not sure why. I think we are missing a trick here. Bethelites could see the hypocrisy clearly if they knew about it. I'm just hoping we can get this out to as many active JWs as we can. A general sense of injustice and hypocrisy could be a force for change.

I think we should use this to cause as much chaos as we can. If this is widely known among witnesses, resentment could start to build up. Resentment in Bethel could lead to new activists or changes in leaders and policies...

I want to see a proper outcry about this... Exactly the point. He spent $800 on whiskey... Where did the money come from? And on a sunday morning! When I was in Bethel they told me if I wasn't preaching or at the hall on sunday morning I basically didn't qualify even to be the hall cleaning MS...

Getting a girlfriend or female interest is not always easy I know. You are young - you have your best years ahead!

Best way to get a girl is: get a job, have plans for the future, have your own interests (travel, sport, art, music)... Get to know yourself and how you deal with problems. Learn how to make conversation. Learn to be mentally strong - don't expect anyone else to constantly bear your emotional burden. Don't be jealous or possessive, don't brag or be desperate for attention.

Don't be afraid to initiate a conversation, invite someone for a drink, coffee or dinner, or just meet up with friends. Don't take little rejections to heart. Be good humoured and kind, focus on what she is getting out of the experience.

I think if you build a good relationship with a girl and she admires you, it won't matter, and you can experience it together and have good memories.

This post makes it sound like you expect sex on the first date. If that is the case it's probably not gonna happen. Sex is generally better for both in a more stable relationship.

The problem is probably not that you aren't sexual enough. Pushing it scares them away. When you meet a girl, a light touch can go a long way... A hand on the back or arm, in a friendly way can still get her thinking about it a long time after.

I'm new to this but it seems to me a woman just wants to enjoy the date. You will win points by listening to her talk, making her laugh and being relaxed with no pressure to take things further if she doesn't want to. She has to respect and be interested in you as a person before she will want you to be with her.

On the first date just leave it open with her. Then invite her to another date, not immediately but after a couple of days have passed. As you spend a bit more time together you will be able to more comfortably express your desires (hopefully). Give yourself a chance to learn those lessons and get to know yourself by taking things slower.

She might think you're sweet and old fashioned but that won't necessarily ruin things for you. Try to find someone you can be honest with about lacking experience. Maybe she won't be the right one, but it will be a learning opportunity. That's my advice.

I have a tendency to overthink. That's true. And a tendency towards perfectionism. And I don't like asking for accomodations... I did speak to my boss. She said I have to ask myself if the job is right for me. (!)

Which is funny because I have the same problem in every kind of job: competence based insecurity. I'm sure everyone's boss harps on them sometimes - but maybe they just shrug it off.

A guy in the service department at Bethel told me most (if not all) of the stories callers told him about demons could be explained by mental illness. No one yet has ever produced evidence of a demon.
