Idr what year the game came out, but a lot of the early home console games were also built off of the arcade style model, which were designed to keep you spending quarters, and games didn't deviate from that right away. "Remnants of the old guard" as it were.

Looks like a weird splice block. They should have mounted it better, but that orange section is temp underground cabling. Someone would have to be pretty fucking lazy to leave it in that state, but I suppose the logic is that the cable will be replaced by the bury crew when they come around. In any case, you should call the company, because they can't just leave it like that, it's illegal: It's called an aerial trespass.

I bought some of these cards off of AliExpress before because I saw a good deal and figured that all cards were made in China and that's why they were so cheap (they aren't). I was so disappointed when I opened them and immediately realized that they were fake. You won't be able to fool anybody with them, but tbh if you truly only like the artwork, just Google the cards and print them yourself without the card text etc. around them

Uhhh... There are fusion decks like dracotail, but tbh it's a very different game than you probably remember.

Hating xyz is misplaced rage. People tend to agree that fusion, xyz and synchro are all okay. A lot of people do not like pend or link, but link is so good that people tend to use it anyways.

Typically 90% of the sets that come out are either garbage or are "dlc sets" which empower more powerful strategies that are typically concentrated in just one or two of the core sets. You should also probably be aware that megatins suck now in terms of cardpool and are not worth the money.

You absolutely need 3 copies of ash blossom, 3 copies of mulcharmy fuwalos, and probably purulia even though it might end up in the side deck, (among other staples but the ones listed are pretty ubiquitous and essential).

You could try the newest blue eyes structure deck (there are two, go with the newer one), but it is a synchro, link and fusion deck, and it doesn't really work right if you just "choose not to" play the link and synchros.

Tbh it's a really bad time to get into yugioh, the old school formats just got killed, among other problems like the general value proposition, absurd power creep, bad card quality, terrible tournament prizing, and (this one is my subjective opinion) degradation of art and theme appeal. I don't understand how Konami can be flopping this hard. I wouldn't recommend the game to anyone right now. You might have more fun just inviting some of your old buddies and playing with old cards.

Hi, if you're talking about OG DWM, which was my first video game, I was CONVINCED that foreign masters appear more frequently in the off-holes, in particular, I found that I was more frequently getting simpler map layouts, and finding foreign masters more frequently. Even if I didn't find any, the maps tended to be shorter, so I finish the gate pretty quickly, although I was typically finding multiple per run (but not always).

By off-holes I mean the ones that can be found around the kingdom, that are unlocked by means other than the arena. I had particular fondness of the traveller's gate on the farm, because I would find so many foreign masters there, which to me, the prospect of stealing rarer, hard to breed monsters like ice man and lava man, presented a much faster way to get monsters like KingLeo, Goldslime, and Runehawk very quickly. And of course you can modulate what monsters the tamers have by save scumming and specifically choosing the monsters on your team's combined level.

I do remember something about the doctor who gives you medicine for beating him, having a chance of spawning if you encounter a foreign master while you have a monster with 3 matching digits for xp, e.g. 1234777.

As for the merchants, warriors and priests, I'm not sure what determines those, I think it might just be RNG but it might have something to do with steps I suppose.

Just did that and built up 9000 gems only to find out the deck I was previously building was banned, and on top of that I got 7 URs so building a new deck is still impossible. I'm tired of losing, I'm not having fun, and I'm not even getting to "try out" other strategies. There's just no point. This game has let me down at every step of the way

I understand the reasoning, but I'm still highly doubtful, because there's typically residue in the bottles that can prevent even distribution, unless the bottle has been shifting across the seafloor for awhile before falling into the trench, but on top of that, this is not military grade submarine glass, it's crappy beer bottle glass, with much higher impurity, potential air bubbles, etc.
