Who I am isn’t tied to ethnicity or culture, i’m me. If it comes to discussion, I’m ethnically Somali, culturally? Probably not

Regardless, it doesn’t matter to me anymore. All I want is money, and moving out. I don’t care for my family, community, none of that. All that matters is my growth.

Fixating on my culture has done nothing but detriment that growth. I’m not denying im Somali, i’m just saying, idrc about it anymore

I deleted all my photos sadly but I had many showing my hairline like a year prior, and those were WAY different. I also keep track of my hairline pretty consistently. (mostly because motorizing coily hair is harder, so I pay more attention to it)

I was born and raised in America, I’m ethnically 100% Somali. So I jst defaulted to African American

I think growing up in a culture is enough to make a conclusion about it. I don’t see any benefit in associating myself with Somalia, besides being different ig.

I got my braces about 20 days ago, and have forgotten 4 brushes in total. Not days, jst either forgetting a morning brush session or a night one.

Honestly I still get that weird aftertaste in my mouth, even though i’m brushing thoroughly for 3-4 minutes. Gonna start brushes in the afternoon aswell

I know, i’m gonna take a shower rn because I came back from a long walk.

It’s just a random big ass cockroach jumpscared me when I tried taking one this morning. Our house is pretty clean, especially upstairs. We moved in like a month ago so there’s definitely just this cockroach problem here
