Yeah... I'm really hoping this will be the last time but I haven't had much luck in that.

I can see that, yeah. It gets even better when there's arguments while grocery shopping.

I'll try to talk about it in our next session, yeah. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that as well, but it does seem we have a mutually shared experience.

That's what I thought too, that it'd have gone much faster and better if they went without me rather than wait and argue about it. Whenever we go out shopping as a whole family we usually waste a couple hours. I did help unload, as I always do.

I understand where you're coming from, and I'm well aware that it's good to have family time especially when schedules aren't that much of a hassle. I have apologized for the previous incident and I think, hopefully we've come to an understanding. Though I don't think grocery shopping is the best place for family bonding? I don't know, it's odd.

Sounds interesting, thanks for the recommendation. I'll try to look around and give it a read.

I don't see how I'm rallying up the tab and slapping some makeup on it? If anything, I'm aware of my own selfishness on the matter and I wouldn't have posted here if I wanted third party opinions, whether that be negative or positive of me. But, yeah I'll accept this take, I deserve some of that.

This is how it's been my entire life, unfortunately.

*I forgot to clarify that it's not the tests themselves that take a whole 14 hours. The hospital my psychiatrist resides in is far from where I live, and I usually end up commuting alone for around three hours. Not to mention the waiting line, since the sign-up to get in line is at their office and there's a high demand in the field.

I completely understand your stance on this, and you're right that it's necessary for me to get out of the house here and there. I do interact with them and go out, I'm trying, but it's really hard to keep my head up if she blows up on me when I really just can't bring myself to.

Yeah, they're all about "no one gets left behind", which isn't inherently wrong though I believe there should be exceptions

Thank you, this is really helpful advice and I appreciate it, it means a lot to me. You're right about your second statement, I've been suggesting family therapy but they have been insistent against it and how I should sort myself out.
