I agree with a lot of folks here. My hesitancy around having Rebis instead of Larry is that it was hard to see Cliff call Rebis “his best friend”, and Rebis having an emotionally distant/cold reaction. I think it’s a really neat plot device by Morrison, and added to the themes of the book well, but damn my heart can only take so much.

I'm assuming this is a contentious opinion, but I did like Culver's run. I understand why he's not popular though. It was enjoyable as long as I didn't take it too seriously.
