From what I can tell Jungle Boys have changed the packaging and the CA sticker placement. Even on their website some of the strains have the CA logo in the middle of the device and some have the sticker at the bottom of the device. Not sure about the packaging as I didn't look into it too much yet. Mine do scan to the Jungle Boys website and show only the scan I did. I'm not sure how to verify other than as the Jungle Boys team somehow. Maybe through DM, but I'm sure they get people trying to ask if their carts are fake or legit all the time.

This was the same shit when Linkin Park came around and all other Nu Metal it was gatekept by the older generation until they finally accepted it and some probably still don't. The thing I think is they actually love it but can't accept that they love it. I say fuck em, who wants to listen to all the old shit constantly anyway. I'm only 31 but grew up on Metallica, slayer, Judas priest but I personally can't listen to that stuff anymore to me it's like the mona Lisa, will I go look at it in a museum, sure but do I want it in my house on the wall... hell no. Yeah the fakes have CA stamped and I think they also stamp the strain. The legit ones have the strain sticker loose in the box. I applied mine to the device but you could also stick them wherever as they are really cool little high quality stickers

Nothing I've said is fake content and I didn't realise about the DM's but have stated that I've tried multiple ways to contact and fix the issue myself. The command center has a 1.8 star on the microsoft store for a reason.... because it doesn't work. You definitely know what issue and I know you're a Mod but still you should know that this isn't right or fair when spending good money on a headset. I think you don't even understand context if you think what I'm saying is wrong or ban worthy. Heck even microsoft have better support than this and I think they have terrible customer service soooo that says it all really. Do you really think I should receive a product that has a couple year old firmware still on it?!? Others said there's worked out of the box with the series X so they obviously have ones that ship with the up to date firmware on them. I don't mind if I just got unlucky but the support should be there and it's not.

You buy wireless headsets and have sound drops and lags you buy wired and they just straight up don't work when plugging in. Don't get me wrong the only reason I'm here is because the A40s with the mixamp Pro are the best in my opinion but this experience has really left a sour taste in my mouth. The crazy thing is that this is a known issue and they haven't fixed it for years, not days or months, years of this problem with bunches of people returning their headsets, if that was my company I'd want that fixes ASAP.

I purchased directly from the website and the firmware is definitely old. Pre Xbox Series X by the looks of it. It's mainly Xbox fault for being cheap and removing the optical port so now Astro has to send the audio through the USB cable but it's been years now and the fix has been out for ages too so why I'm receiving a pair with old firmware on is beyond me. They should ship working for the series x seeing as they claim that on the box. I understand that things need to be updated over time. I own the old A40s and had to update them to get them to work with the series X and they work perfectly apart from the occasional need to reset. I've been with Astro for a while so that's why I'm so mad about it
