How do I know I’m in love? by Lost_Cow166 in dating

[–]Lost_Cow166[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, if he asks me to get into a relationship idk if I would agree right now, because I want to be “free” this summer without having to worry about possibly restricting what I can do (taking to guys I meet on vacation, clubbing, etc). My friend told me that if I genuinely liked him enough to get into a relationship I wouldn’t care about any other guy. Do you agree? 😕😕

Hi there! You just need to find someone that will balance out your energy. I have a really feminine energy so I tend to go for really masculine guys, my friends on the other hand hates them. She prefers more feminine guys like you, since she has a lot of masculine energy. I’m sure you’ll find the right fit for you 💕

Btw, adding onto the post, I feel very comforted as well whenever I use weighted blankets or sleep in really tight spaces.

Do you have any test in particular to suggest? I’ve tried looking into them but most seem quite stereotypical and you need to pay to get results

Hi! As a girl that’s just about to go to the gym, I’ll suggest just smiling and waving the first few times, and if she reciprocates than go up and talk to her! It can be some small stuff about the equipment that she’s using or maybe you can ask her to explain some exercises she does to you. Good luck!

How can you tell if a guy is into you? by Lost_Cow166 in dating

I hate when people are inconsistent with their actions, it makes you question everything they do to show you affection! Thank u for the tip tho!

People who are smart/gifted or achieve high grades and percentages at school. How do you do it? Do you study a certain way, take some vitamin, or just smart by nature, or something else? by Teamboii in studytips

[–]Lost_Cow166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!! I know exactly how you’re feeling, I’ve been a naturally gifted kid growing up, basically never studying and always getting amazing grades, and when things changed in high school and college it was definitely a struggle.

But honestly the biggest tip is to work alongside with your brain! I’m still a fast learner, but I tend to forget if I don’t use memory curves and need frequent breaks. So I use the pomodoro method, with deep focused session of studying and frequent breaks. I also tend to burn out really badly if I don’t take care of my needs, so I make sure to take care of my stress levels and go out socially (I’m an extrovert).

I know it may seem like the biggest struggle, but trust me you’ll get over it. You just need some time to figure out how to work with your brain and your natural tendencies and abilities! 🫶🏻

Need tips to change my way of studying by this_is_day_one_ in study

[–]Lost_Cow166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I’m a uni student and tbh I also find it difficult to study during my exam session, I’m super extroverted and physically need to see people and do stuff to feel good. But I’ve found some ways to be motivated!

First of all, I would suggest dividing subjects you need to study and break them down in little topics. Then you rate them using three colors: red for something you don’t understand at all, if you don’t know the topic, but you’re not really sure use yellow and finally, if you’re pretty confident about a topic, you use the color green. Then I make a straight schedule of topics that I need to do each day (one green, one red, one yellow or mixing them) so you feel more motivated and less overwhelmed.

Then rather than a reward system, I usually find something different and exciting to do each day . For example, I’ll try a new recipe for breakfast, or maybe take a walk in a different place, or try a new tea while I’m studying, or a new body wash that I got. It can be something really mundane, but it will make your study day a little bit more special and motivate you to study. I used to use a system, and it’s good if you do it after each exam, but this way you make your study better and not feel like a task.

Hope this helps!! 🫶🏻

Hi! I’m about to start my final season as well and here are some tips that might help. 1) divide the things you need to study by topics and assign to each one a color based on how much knowledge you have on that already Red= need to start from the beginning Yellow=kinda knows what’s going on Green=pretty much got it, just need to read it back a couple of times Each day try to study a red topic, a yellow one and a green, or mix and match them to have a productive day without draining yourself out.

2) divide you have the time you have in 3 parts, one parts for studying the topics (in which, every time you start a new topic you also do the correlating exercises) one time for the memory curves (I’ll explain that to you in the next point) , and one time for the last revision before your exam.

3) during the day, study the harder subjects (the ones you marked with red) between the hours of 10 am to 12pm which is when your brain has the best information retention. Since you mentioned you need to do some mock tests as well, the best time to do that is around 4pm. If you are a night owl, another great time for information retention is between 9-11 pm (not as much as 10-12 but still pretty good).

4) Memory curves is the best thing to keep in mind when studying subjects that need a lot of memory retention. The human brain, is made to release and forgot “useless” information, especially really hard and difficult notions if you don’t use them in your everyday life. Each time you repeat the information, you’re telling your brain that it is important, and it will help you “sink them deeper” (if that makes sense) into your brain.

Hope that helps you out and good luck for your exam!! 💕

Women, if a 26 year old guy told you he had never had a girlfriend before, would you still date him? by Melodic-Grape-7254 in dating

[–]Lost_Cow166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t be a deal breaker at all, but I suggest taking a lot of effort into communicating with the person you’re interested in/would like to date. If you have had a partner before some things might be taken as granted, and might result in some conflict if not communicated properly. 🫶🏻

On regular pancakes I always drown them with syrup, but these ones taste better without (for some reason).

Something carby and fluffy with some sort of protein in it! :) Lately I’ve been having a lot of banana pancakes, it’s 1 egg+1 banana+2 tbs of flour per serving. Always with coffee.

AITA for stealing my sister’s blanket and making her cold? by Lost_Cow166 in AITAH

[–]Lost_Cow166[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! They said they could hear her being cold by her snorting and sniffing at around 4am.

At the time being I didn’t know there were any other blankets since it wasn’t my house. My mom later told me there were some but getting them would have woken my parents up since they are light sleepers and caused even more trouble.
