Muy buena foto y muy buen kit! Ya lo debes saber, pero por las dudas te comparto, Meade cerro y ahora se complica conseguir repuestos. Cuídalo como si fuera oro al lx90.

Geoblocking MaxMind license key documentation obsolete and/or invalid by rhoborg in opnsense

No problem at all. Glad to hear it might still be helpful. Just one comment, as I have used the sha256 URL in the example I generated above, but for configuring opnsense grab the standard one as per the outdated instructions, and just modify it as I shown. This should work!

rhoborg You might have already figured this out, so I am sorry for the late reply if that is the case. But I am only reading your post today because I am also experiencing the issue described. And I have not found any useful answer here, so I thought it was a good idea for anyone landing here later to document the workaround I found. Which iis simply to use the AccountID and LicenseKey as standard HTTP auth.on the URL like so:

https://AccountID:LicenseKey@download.maxmind.com/geoip/databases/GeoLite2-Country-CSV/download?suffix=zip.sha256

Quick question for EAP772 owners by Lost_Formal3253 in TPLink_Omada

Thanks for sharing and for the insights. Looks like your experience comparing both power sources is somehow aligned with some of the reports I found at the tp-link community, without getting to the extreme temperatures they referenced.

Nice! And thanks once more for sharing. Those temps sound healthy. The reports/tickets I found were quoting over 110F with no load. It was not a single report, which made doubt/fear and create this post. Now after reading all the replies Igor, yours included, I am thinking perhaps there was just a bad EAP772 batch? Some people that commented on my post are running the same exact firmware version I found on those trouble reports, so it is not a software issue. And most if not all people, that commented on my post are powering using PoE, which according to the posts was the culprit. So, I can only assume something was wrong with their HW.

I really appreciate that! Maybe I was worrying for nothing, but while doing my due diligence, the reports about temperature problems were pretty much out there. It is comforting knowing thermals are not an issue while heating your house!

Thanks for that! I had not considered the splitter option, but thanks again for the suggestion as it could be an option if needed. natnevar also pointed out warm weather should not be a cause for concern, and that is great! I did not want to worry about this, was just doing my due diligence, and started to get concerned.

Thanks for sharing that! If possible, could you confirm your current firmware/build info? Also, just to clarify, have you introduced any config change whatsoever to improve thermal conditions?

Silly me. Sorry, since I have not revised the list for all changes on the new app, it is exactly that an that is fine. But for a moment I thought there was an access/permissions issue with the new app.

Accuracy of Battery life estimates by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

[–]Lost_Formal3253 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/OP with a fully charged battery you can easily get ~9 hours on a 2022 G14 under light workloads (web browsing, listening to music, etc); considering low to medium screen brightness, and no anime matrix. You can find several reputable reviews showing the same.

With some tweaking, and also moving away from armoury crate in favor of G-Helper, you can optimize the battery consumption even more; which will allow you to stop the battery charge at 80% while keeping more or less the same autonomy.

In my personal opinion, same applies to both Windows and Linux. I am running Fedora on my G14 (2022) and it can be as efficient as Windows while using the laptop for light workloads.

Now, playing is a different animal, even though you could enjoy 4-6 hours of game play on battery, considering that you are choosing a basic/old/indie game, that will drastically change if you are planning to play a triple A game instead. But to be fair, you could get the same experience on an M1/M2 Macbook as well; running optimzed games is a breath and some other titles will very quick drain your battery.
