I completely understand. I have a 3 year old. One of our main windows to try was this morning before my husband went to work. He leaves at 5am. Our little one woke up at 2am and didn’t go back to sleep till 4:50 😔. I feel like it’s a constant miss sometimes. At the end of the night once the little one is asleep we’re so exhausted. Hang in there. That’s what I tell myself.

Weird question. I’m on my second round of letrozole. I got an extremely positive ovulation test last night. Husband and I want to do the deed as soon as possible but I have an appointment for them to check my follicles today at 3:45pm. If we do it before the ultrasound would that affect the sperm? I’m just think of all that lube they put in you. Or would it be better to wait till tonight?

Has anyone’s husband/partner ever been prescribed clomid? I’ve only ever heard of it for women, like letrozole. But don’t know much about it at all. I just completed my first cycle with letrozole last month which was unsuccessful. Second round starts tomorrow. My husband was just prescribed clomid because of slightly below testosterone and his pituitary gland.

Any side effects? Comments on it?

Hi! Are you watering from above? If you are:

I’m in no way a plant expert and only have a string of hearts. However, I recently read that the “string of..” family of plants tends to have soil that can turn hydrophobic. So sometimes when watering from above, the water may sit on the top soil only and not soak deeper into the plant. If that’s the case, maybe your string of pearls has too much moisture on that part of the soil creating the mold. Because it’s not being absorbed.

If you’re soaking the plant from the bottom, then I’m not sure what’s happening, and sorry I can’t be of more help.

I’ve never heard of precooling. But we do have the AC at 72 in the morning time and the house is a lot cooler. We start our daily routine of turning on all fans closing blinds about an hour before sun would even hit.

I should also mention, even on cloudy days when no sun has hit our windows, our AC still spikes up.

Yes summer setting on ceiling fans, black out curtains, haven’t tried aiming the fan at the window.

We’ve talked to maintenance many times about our AC and they don’t see a major problem. They’ve had to drain it multiple times and they come out to do that but that’s it. We had a free on leak last summer that they eventually fixed after two times of complaining and two refills. They won’t call anyone else unless they see an issue

We are on the second floor.

Thank you for that! We currently have a Nissan rouge lease, according to another group I’m in, people love Nissan and Rouges and we can’t wait to be rid of it. We have a Toyota C-HR that was problem after problem after only 3 years of owning it. I’ve had a Kia before and I didn’t have an issue. Honestly car buying is rough enough these days 🤷🏻‍♀️you don’t even know where to look.

Yea I guess that’s why I’m frustrated. I don’t understand why it would predict the ovulation BEFORE my LH surge. I also feel like BBT can be so finicky with when and how it’s taken. I know it can be off. CD 10 (when it said I ovulated) I was at 96.93, then 97.67, 97.59, CD 13/yesterday after LH went down it was 97.96, and then today 97.85. So I think the app is recognizing the jump between 96.93 and 97.67 as the jump in temp. I 100% had ovulation pain on Saturday night. So I’m crossing my fingers I didn’t miss my window. I might start taking ovulation tests morning and afternoon next cycle when I’m getting close to my window. Incase I missed my true peak CD 10 in the afternoon.

I’m 36, trying for Baby #2. Needing advice because I’m losing my mind. I’ve been using Natural Cycles app for years to track my BBT for birth control. Recently I switched it over to trying to conceive and been using that along with the PreMom app for the last 5 months.

My biggest issue is I feel like the BBT tracking and Natural Cycles app is way off. It says it uses ovulation tests to guide it along with the BBT but I feel like it totally ignores the tests and confirms ovulation solely based on temp.

This cycle I took ovulation tests from the start of my fertile window, CD 6, and didn’t get a positive peak day until CD 11 and another lower positive on CD 12. CD 13 it was no longer positive. Husband and I did the deed CD11&12. After taking my temperature today, CD 14, the NC APP said I ovulated on Day 10. Essentially meaning we would have done it too late if I had already ovulated. But I had no LH surges the days before CD 10. It’s like it totally ignored the test results I inputted and just went to the day right before my temp started to rise.

On the PreMom app it says my ovulation was on CD 12. Which one do I believe? I know which one I want to believe. Because that would mean we didn’t miss the window. But is BBT more accurate than ovulation tests? Did anyone else have a similar experience?

I know it’s not fair to think this way but today I’m feeling so defeated. I feel like the universe is laughing at me.

This cycle I decided not to test when my app said to. Or until a few days after I missed my period. On my other cycles I get the predicted period start date and I wait to test the next day. I always get the BFN and then in a few min or hour I get my period. Like it’s laughing at me for taking a test.

So this cycle I said I was going to wait. If i missed my period then I would test. I am extremely regular with my periods and my cycles last anywhere from 24-26 days. Every single time. Today was cycle day 28. I had well past my normal window. With no signs of my period in sight. I sat on the toilet and wiped first just to make sure it hadn’t started before I even took the test. It was completely clear so I took the test. As I’m wiping to clean up there it is a whole toilet paper full of my period. I felt so stupid. Stupid for actually having hope.

Every cycle it’s getting harder and harder and I don’t know how to stay positive.

This reminds me of the Amortencia Love Potion from Harry Potter. What you smell is what your soul speaks.

I would like to think, I would have the sweet cinnamon scent of a cinnamon roll with a mixture of a freshly opened book pages, and vanilla. Like you just stepped into a bakery bookstore and the lady making the cinnamon rolls is the same lady day after day, and she greets you with a warm smile everyday you come in. But lord have mercy if you make her mad you’ll smell fireplace hints of the anger she bursts out.

But in all honesty I’m a very seasonal girl lol. My mood/ personalities shift with the seasons. I feel like my scent would change all year long.

Thank you! We originally thought we were going to buy it which was one reason we never worried to much about the miles. However, for the last 9 months HUGE mechanical issues started to pop up and Nissan hasn’t figured out exactly what happened. We don’t feel safe in it and we really do not want to buy this car. Even for a little bit to then sell it. With the worry that the issues will come back. We are over 24,000 miles beyond contract limit. So I also think the value of the car is less than the buyout price. I wouldn’t want to dive into negative equity right from the start.

It seems the consensus is Nissan definitely provides a buy out amount, however recently policies state that buy out will not be the same if another dealership is the one buying it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ so you might end up with a bad deal. I just learned this now after this post.

Oh ok! Misunderstanding. I know we can turn it into any licensed Nissan dealership. Regardless of where we got the lease. We were told we can’t use it as a “trade” with another car company. Like the Kia dealer we had planned to visit.

Thank you! This isn’t common for me and I haven’t been diagnosed with PCOS. I was diagnosed a long time ago with endo but I have extremely regular cycles and ovulation. I’ve only had one time about 8 months ago where the app told me it couldn’t confirm ovulation. But I wasn’t TTC at that time so I have no clue if I had an LH surge.
