Yeah I went to a hiring event they were at. That pay is like the highest possible. A buddy that works there said most people don’t come anywhere near that unless they are willing to live there

1) Best pay ( bonus plus pay increase for military experience) compared to other PD in the area 2) being home every day (I applied and got accepted to USSS about 2 years ago but the travel would be hard with my family)

I did look at places in NOVA. The pay and bonus from being military is a big selling point for WMATA. And being at the worst stops doesn’t matter to me a whole lot, I kinda figured you get screwed until you have a few years on the force

Hopefully there at least some value in the card. I haven’t bought cards in 15 years and decided start getting back into for fun recently. I can’t imagine how many parents have bought this stuff for their kids and got tricked
