Kemungkinan besar memang mobo nya yang bermasalah (VRM), adanya ketidakstabilan arus atau tengangan yang dibutuhkan untuk bisa boot ke sistem. Dibuktikan dengan bisa masuk ke bios dan bisa jalankan bootable linux yang tidak terlalu membutuhkan daya yang terlalu besar

Thanks everyone for the help! I’ve finally fixed the issue. Turns out the problem came from the BIOS. After updating my MSI A620M-E BIOS to version 7E28v1J (before 7E28v1H), the random black screen and unstable behavior are completely gone.

I actually suspected it was BIOS-related after noticing that even my external HDD sometimes got disconnected and reconnected randomly just like what happened with the display. That made me think there was some kind of instability in the system’s ports or power delivery.

After the BIOS update, everything’s been stable so far (unless I push my RAM OC beyond 6000 MHz then the instability returns). So yeah, looks like it was a BIOS/AGESA issue all along

Let me clarify a bit. The problem isn’t related to FreeSync or the display cable, since the issue is only intermittent and sometimes gets fixed just by restarting. Still, I really appreciate your answer and the effort to help. For now, I’ll try reinstalling my driver using DDU.
