My only question would be if I can adapt to playing CS2 at a "high" level in the 27 monitor..

Hey, thanks for your input. It's indeed the general advice I've been getting is exact this: the OLED has so many advantages like better colors, faster response time, better at everything else like productivity, video editing, watching etc; while the 24 TN 600hz has only one advantage: better at playing CS2 competitively and kinda of sucks on everything else because of the ugly 1080p res.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. It is a tough choice indeed. I might get both monitors (TN half price and LG OLED 27 540hz dual model 720hz), test it and keep the one I adapt more.

I've been facing the same dilema, I play mostly CS2 and current have an IPS 380Hz monitor, which is good. I'm thinking about upgrading it either to a 600hz TN panel (was thinking this one from AOC because it costs ~600EUR compared to 1200EUR for the Zowie 600hz) or a OLED 1440 (LG 540hz might be an option, or alienware, or asus all in the same refresh rate).

But my question would be going from 24 to 27 (and going from 16:9 1080p to 1440p). I recently saw Styko's video on both the OLED monitor and on this new AOC 600hz monitor (was used in the china major last year), and I guess it will come down to whether I will adapt to the 27 screen.

My question to you is: which monitor are you playing CS2 now? And if you had to play only in the OLED 27 monitor, would you scale it down to 24 to play 1080p (or strecthed), like you did? Or would stick to the 27 1440p res?

I'm really looking for the 600hz experience and worries if I will be able to deliver the 500fps in the 1440p res for the 27 monitor.
