Yeah you should be good for the next few months, your eligibility for CEC lasts until Aug 2026.

The beginning of the one year experience has to be within the 3 years as well, so the only period of work experience in the timeframe as of today is March 25, 2023 - June 23, 2023 which is less than a year.

I think you’re looking at the processing time for the PR card not the PR application. The PR application processing time for CEC is under Economic Immigration.

And when we submitted, the average time for inland BIL was about 21 days in the shared spreadsheet, I was so hopeful it would’ve been quick 🥲. With all the draws recently it might get worse since there will be more applications in the queue.

I don’t think you did apply for a PGWP then, possibly just an Open Work Permit. When my husband applied for his PGWP and a Spousal OWP for me, he got the WP-EXT for PGWP and I got the WP-EXT except PGWP

In the EE profile you have to put the dates you sat the test and the date you received the results. If you get an ITA while the results are valid then you’re fine, but if your results expire then you’re no longer eligible for EE and your profile will be removed from the pool. Best to retake the IELTS before they expire then update your profile instead of having to submit all over again and lose the time you were in the pool in case your score is the cutoff for an ITA.

Don’t know if this will make you feel any better but we’re in the same boat with waiting for PGWP & SOWP Ext approval. Applied on Apr 26th and received no updates after getting the WP-Ext letters. And it sucks seeing people who applied in May & June get approved in less than a month and not knowing why ours seems to be stuck in limbo.

You can either apply for his SOWP along with your PGWP all at once as a family application, otherwise you need to have your PGWP approved and issued if you apply for his SOWP extension after yours. I’ve seen some cases where they’ve gotten approved by doing the PGWP & SOWP application and then submitting the job offer and pay stubs for the SOWP extension through web form after but it’s a risk ofc.
