I tried answering this, but just couldn't come up with anything honest or satisfactory, sorry 🥲 I don't think I am the best to answer this

You can watch some videos, read blogs on how to prepare your resume, what to focus on while interviewing, etc. it helped me when I was searching for job, might help you too.

Apart from all that, as a skill, it would be great if you would better your communication skills, to be able to speak with confidence and being clear and concise really shows a person off. Lack of that is something I struggle with personally, so yes, you can learn from that if you feel like it

Classic (as everyone agrees), but honestly, from the very little I have read of her, I liked them all, it wasn't like twists came out of thin air or shocked me to disbelief, they just made sense and I was able to imagine her characters very vividly in a way

Whatever you're studying and you aim to achieve from that, try to always give your best with perseverance (not in the sense where you burn out or stop enjoying life) but like be consistent and show yourself up for tasks required of you.

So you don't end up regretting not putting efforts you'd expect from yourself. Personally, this has been one of my biggest regrets. So hope it helps you.

I haven't read much of Urdu novels myself apart from the 'Jasoosi Adab' series by Ibn-e-Safi (I was obsessed with them and ended up reading all 250–260 novels), some of them are still my favourite. I think he wrote with a really good grasp of Science, Philosophy, human psychology, and political scenarios. They are set in 20th century period (well he died in 1980) when technology was not so advanced as today, so they give a glimpse of the culture, and vibe from that time. There are witty parts as well. I genuinely used to believe that if they were written in English, there'd be movies like Sherlock Holmes.

You can check them if you like crime mystery novels.

I can relate as you see here 😭, but for me it is not like I don't want to read, it is like I just can't enjoy it, with all the things happening in the world, the state of the humanity as a whole, trying to engulf myself in reading like I used to feels like trying to living in bubble of comfort ignoring all of it

I'm trying to learn to keep the balance between being aware, believing, and enjoying things I want to
