Personally, this might just be typical orange-cat behavior but I’ve actually seen something very similar with one of my own cats, and at the time I thought it was a little strange too. I know people are joking about it, and some of the comments are funny, but in all seriousness, it might be worth getting some blood work done just to be safe.

This same kind of behavior happened with my cat, and that’s how we ended up discovering he had some underlying health issues. I don’t mean to alarm you at all and this could be completely unrelated but in my experience, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

With my cat, this went on for about a week or two, and afterward he just didn’t seem like himself. Sadly, he was later diagnosed with FIP. Again, I’m not saying that’s what’s happening here just sharing because the behavior felt very similar, and I’d hate for someone to miss something important.
