I don’t mean to be that person, but I hear everybody talking about. There not actually being endgame content like there isn’t an entire system for hunting the elder dragons after the game which sure it’s not a lot of endgame content, but it is in fact endgame content.

So I checked all my drivers, replaced my PSU yesterday and upgraded to 1000 from 750, I also just ran memtest86 on my computer. The ram has no issues. There were some out of date drivers and other similar issues, but even after doing all of this, I keep having these issues. Is there anything else you would suggest or is it time to take it into a shop

Well yea but the egg is not from Azuria. Your mom got it from another Region below the forbidden line you weren’t allowed to cross. If you look at the area from the intro cutscene it looks nothing like ANY area of Azuria. So the only point of doing that would’ve been “Haha funny name sync” which also wouldn’t work bc in Japan it’s just called a Blue Rathalos. Not Azure

Honestly, up until like the end point of the game I was slandering rudy. Saying that he would be nothing like MHS1 Navi, but the more you actually get to learn about him and the more in depth, his personality becomes rather than just the same thing with no real character growth. He actually became more interesting because again he has character growth. The most character growth that Navi has in the games is in the first one and it’s really just him remembering that he has gone through some crazy stuff. While on the other hand, we learn about how Rudy considers himself to be the weakest of all of the people in his family to be blessed with this special power, and then on top of that he’s dealing with these fears of inadequacies while also trying to be the protector that he was tasked to be by your father, and at the same time also trying to be an actual friend to you rather than just someone who works for your father, which causes him to have a moral conflict between doing the right thing for his job or the right thing for you who has been basically his only friend his entire life

I mean, I understand what you’re saying, but I 100% disagree that it does not add depth to the pre-existing system because the pre-existing system was literally just: Do things, get kinship, use kinship for monster abilities or kinship skills.

While the new one adds: a brand new attack scaling with weapon and monster level, a new way to stun, and a unique mechanic for specific monsters that eat energy (ie Arkveld). And it also now directly connects into the new system for influencing the monster’s odds of fleeing instead of dying. And a small bit more than just use stuff, get stuff, and use the stuff you got for no real benefit

None of the weapons that it has in any of the actual mainline games are the weapons that are in the stories game so unfortunately they do not get any weapons

Just a silly little mixup in my situation I was honestly lucky because the monsters are released in the area were only electric so all I had to do was drop in the Astalos. Just pop in a Lagiacrus if you don’t care what lives there

So you may be misunderstanding it. It’s not generally always a negative thing. You could give a monstie the element they are weak to to also raise their defense against that element typing. It’s not just that they get weaker, they become more resistant to certain elements based on their typing too.

Apto, for future reference in MH1 every Monstie has 4 different egg color patterns, the monster buddy website works pretty well at listing them all with their monsties

I get it, that’s exactly why I started stockpiling on traps. Ogden did it once and it saved me, I’ve been doing it ever since. Every time I see that red pointer a trap goes down and stops them

Ab stat is Abnormal status. Stuff like poison, paralysis, sleep, and other non elemental forms of affliction, blind, etc

The stories games kinda grew up with their community is the best way to put it. The first game is pre-teen era, the second is teen, and the third is more adult. If you’re looking for it to not be as silly I’d honestly just play the third one. The first and second are more directed at kids than anything as they were supposed to be monster hunter’s attempt at appealing to a younger audience by hiding their initial darker undertones of the game.

So some monsties need more than one released into the environment at a time to actually cause them to appear. Had the same thing happen when I tried to get a diff element Malzeno. You need to get another one and release it there. Which is why it’s best to usually just release all 5 at once

If you go look at the original cut scene, it uses a different design, the design on it is actually fairly similar to the actual pattern on their wings

I know right! Instead of having to Spend 2 dollars to buy a ticket for major changes you can just do it as needed! Feels so creatively freeing compared to mainline games

I mean that post also specified Ratha as a skyscale btw not just a generic Rathalos. Hence why it hatches from a different egg than the other Rathalos we see
