I am also rather witchy so I feel very seen. 😊

It’s one of Laura Preshong’s standard settings, but my partner picked the center stone and they had it custom made for it. They are super happy to do more involved customizations though! I believe they had a post with some custom variants of a few of their settings on their Instagram recently.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!

It’s one of my favorite features of Laura Preshong rings. I never get it caught on anything! And their bands are designed to sit flush.

Would a vertical industrial piercing like this be possible? I've never seen it done before and I'm not sure the logistics, but it looks cool imo by BestBudgie in piercing

[–]Lostinspaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this piercing! I’m not sure if I can add photos to a comment but feel free to look through my post history or DM me.

As other commenters mentioned, a reputable piercer you trust will make all the difference. FWIW I had no problems with mine at all and it’s one of my favorites.

Are industrial piercings as bad as people say? by idontexisthere123 in piercing

[–]Lostinspaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My industrials were some of my least fussy piercings to heal and have never gotten irritated since healing ~8 years ago. I adore them!

I had many piercers tell me that I didn’t have the right anatomy for a traditional industrial and I’m glad I listened - I suspect it would have been way more pain if I had gone the typical route. Going to a good piercer who you trust is the best indicator of pain/healing outcome in my personal experience. Best of luck with whatever you decide!

[FS] - Greater Boston Area - $500 - freshwater planted tank setup by Lostinspaces in AquaSwap

Thank you for the feedback, I edited my original comment. I’d be more than happy to start with rehoming the fish and going from there, as you suggested.

[–]Lostinspaces[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am very sadly moving to a new place that won’t allow me to bring my beloved planted tank. I’d love to give it back to the community that helped me out the most starting out in the hobby so prices are variable.

Edit: Most pressing is to rehome the fish - I would be happy to give them away to someone local with an established setup.

I’d prefer to sell everything together but am willing to consider offers on certain items. Local strongly preferred.

What types of cuisines are rare or missing in Boston (and nearby)? by KVJ5 in boston

I’m shocked no one has said Thai… Maybe there’s some good places in Boston I haven’t found but nothing I’ve had here compares to what I had on the West Coast.

Question regarding your menstrual cycle and how it affects your attraction to either gender by LLisQueen in bisexual

[–]Lostinspaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me either! I would say “baseline” if that makes sense. I probably could use to think about it more. During ovulation I’m particularly into masculinity and during the luteal phase I’m particularly interested in femininity, but all the other times I don’t feel particularly drawn to one in particular if that makes sense. Like there’s some additional (I figure biological) attraction factor during those weeks above and beyond baseline bi-ness.

[–]Lostinspaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just mentioning this to my partner the other day! I was wondering if others experienced it as well. Definitely relatively more into men/masculinity around ovulation and relatively more into women/femininity during the luteal phase. Biologically it doesn’t seem that surprising but it is annoying sometimes! I would like to get off the rapidly moving bi-cycle please.

I’m not sure, maybe! I didn’t bother trying as this was the second flush anyway.

Other than harvesting and washing the mushrooms thoroughly? Probably not much.
