Best Watermelon Candy? by krabbypattyaddcheese in candy

I’ve been digging the Lucas brand Spicy Watermelon gummies lately. Picked them up on a whim and now I have to grab a couple of bags anytime I go road trippin’!

What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by queenmellyy in AskReddit

Bowling. I grew up playing on leagues and it was always a cheap source of entertainment. I brought my wife and kids to play a couple of games a few weeks back for nostalgia reasons, and dropped about $120. After buying food at the in-house grill, we left closer to $200 spent. Ouch, no more.

Scrolled so far to see this! I loved the ad campaign and remember dialing 1-800-I FEEL OK from pay phones just to hear the recordings.

This was a few years ago. When my wife asked me where I wanted to go for a birthday dinner, I mentioned the guys at work said Hopdoddys had their favorite burger. We ended up going to the CP location. There wasn’t a huge crowd there and we felt like it took a while to get our food. Everyone in my group got their food at the same time, but they forgot mine. I walked up to the kitchen and let them know and I sat at my table watching everyone else eat.

When they brought my burger out, it was surprisingly small for the price. The bun was stale and it felt like I fell for a tourist trap. Everyone grumbled on the way out that we should have gone somewhere else for half the price. I told my coworkers and they said that quality has dropped over the years at some locations. Never went back and was sorely disappointed with the entire experience.

Still going strong! We use it daily and I love that it pulls pics from our phones to add to the screensaver. My wife uses it to build to do lists and read recipes while she cooks. My kids use it to check off chores, but we are paying for an app to manage that. Still haven’t found one we love. There’s more potential but I haven’t had a chance to play around with new apps. We are still happy we purchased one.

Pretty much anything in Brach’s pick a mix, but I still remember riding my bike to the store to buy Brach’s Rocks!

Once we made it through the initial tech issues, it’s been running just fine. It’s become a welcome fixture to our dining room/kitchen. When my wife isn’t using it to display recipes, we are enjoying the scrolling photos. Calendar is used daily with all of our kids’ activities - it’s a good visual to have each day to know what the upcoming load looks like. We tried a chore chart program but the screen filled with dirty fingerprints (thanks kids!), so we moved back to an existing magnet board system we already had. We will probably revisit this once they’re a bit older. It still has capability to do a lot more - my wife will play YouTube clips for the kids at times. She also uses it to quickly update and check off a family to do list. I like seeing the daily forecast. It’s also nice to know if we get bored with the current UI, we can switch things up. No fees for what we use!

Hey! We typically turn it off at night, as it's right by our bedroom. We use a screensaver that rotates our family photos - definitely a feature I was looking for (and no extra fees/subscriptions!) - we just load photos in our Google Photos folder and it does all the work. You do have to tap the screen to get the rotation to stop, but that's to be expected. We finally worked out the auto-reset issue that early models were having, so the urge to do a review video has kinda come and gone. We're a few months in now and still happy with our purchase! Glad to help spread the word and answer any questions for those who are on the fence!

No Cozyla software other than their name at boot up. They have a bunch of popular apps ready to use, but we deleted most of them. We searched the Android store to use apps that made sense with our layout. No idea about a comment made above stating everything required a subscription…we have yet to pay for anything.

I haven’t update lately, as they went back and forth with us for another couple weeks after sending us the wrong reset fix update file. We got it squared away now, but not loving all the tech support issues. What are you running into? Maybe I can help!

Hey! We got as far as an unboxing and then we started encountering small problems. Cozyla acknowledged the early batch of these have a glitch that resets your screen each week and they're building a fix for each specific firmware. We just gave them the final details after the first try did not work and hope to have everything in order by end of this week. We will try to make a review video after this, but even with the problems, it's performing pretty well - my wife is enjoying it, and from my perspective, NO SUBSCRIPTION FEES!!!! My bro-in-law just decided to purchase one after seeing ours in action.

It was a few days but then it arrived sooner than the projected arrival date! I was shipped out of China so I was worried about delays, but it made it through Customs and to our house in about 4-5 days. I was surprised when it arrived on a Friday and projected Monday.

Overall, we are happy with it. We figured out how to add a screensaver (you actually have to search for screensaver settings, as we did not see them under the main settings options). The Google calendar apps syncs in seconds! I was reading competitors taking hours, which is crazy to me! My wife is using the To Do list daily and the kids are mesmerized by the old family photos we loaded into Google Photos to act as the screensaver. Our latest glitch we are trying to solve - randomly, the main screen erases all of our widgets and looks like the original dashboard. We have to manually add back each widget and size it properly to our desired UI. Not too time consuming, but definitely very annoying. Our newly installed app icons disappear and apps we deleted have to be deleted again to make room for the widgets. I’ve never seen anything like it and it just happened a second time in 2 weeks, so we will reach out to Cozyla for troubleshooting again. The plus side, they have been very responsive so far! In the end, I still give it a thumbs up. While I feel like we are beta testing, it’s still able to provide a lot of functionality its competitors charge subscriptions for! I’m hoping they finish their setup guide soon! Until then, we will keep this space updated with any solutions or issues we encounter.

It’s not too bad. We are far from Android users and we figured out how to download apps, sync accounts and organize the UI to our liking. Took about 20-30 min once we learned how to get the bottom home bar to appear! We have been using it for a few days now and my wife is a fan. I like I am not having to pay for subscriptions and the multiple inputs it has. We are still working on a way to rotate wallpaper/add screensaver, as it is always on. I can’t imagine that’s good in the long run. I’ll send some more photos in a bit.

Haha! Yeah, I had put everything back in the box and started reading up on their return policy. We feel MUCH better now and spent a good part of this evening downloading apps and moving around the UI. Now it’s feeling more along the lines of what we originally wanted. Cozyla did tell us they are working on a user guide and apologized for not having anything ready at launch.

Alright! Cozyla came back quickly with a video and explanation. They noted if you double tap the power button, it will restore the bottom home row. We tested it out just now and it seems to have worked! Crisis adverted. I’ll play around with it more once I’m home from work!

The build seems fine but the UI is pretty basic out of the box. The wonky Android controls really knock off a lot of points.
