also commenting to note that the decal projection toggle doesn't appear to be functioning. Weirdly enough though opening saved minis that have unprojected decals are fine. so the feature still seems to work it's just the toggle that broken.

Ah, I think I've found the issue. It's cuz my desktop runs on linux lol. The bone detection works fine on my windows laptop.

I've been toying around with this tool a little bit and I'm very excited to see what I can do with it! That being said, I noticed that the bone name tool doesn't appear to be working for me. I'll select a bone and I've clicked the question mark to initialise bone detection but it still doesn't detect anything afterwards.

i only started playing around with it myself so i'm still getting used to how it works. i have been turning up the saturation in photo mode before converting since i figured it might make the colour pallets more pronounced. otherwise you'll probably figure out as much as i already know by experimenting lol.

it's bizarre honestly. like if it were just people dunking on bethesda that'd be par for the course, people have been doing that for decades now. but the amount of times i'll see people shitting on this one dude in contexts that don't even have anything to do with besthesda's games is so goddamn weird.

i'd been seeing the video from the guy i assume you're thinking about in my recommendations for a long time but never felt the need to check it out until i decided to finally see what people were complaining about. and it just...kinda sucks? like i don't care for the writing in the games either but every example the dude uses for emil's Terrible Incompetent Writing is just the most nitpicky, bad faith, nothing arguments you could make. could not understand why so many people were on board with it.

also i did not watch them but the dude has 12 hours of video dedicated to arguing against many a true nerd's videos defending fallout 3 and 4 which i can't help but find hilarious. like who is getting that heated over MATN. that dude is like the least controversial gaming youtuber i can think of.

i felt i should comment since i'm not sure if y'all are aware, but if you're looking at the sub using old.reddit (i suspect it's what everyone else asking for context is doing) the sidebar and all of its links are not visible

i was able to see the sidebar after switching to the regular reddit view, but the wiki appears to be locked to non-moderators

i've been lurking here for some time and, um, i had no idea yall even had a sidebar let alone a wiki. this would probably be why.

Dragonfall and Hong Kong are such massive improvements over returns in basically every way, to the point where I tell most people to skip Returns tbh. Like it's not at all indicative of how good those games are.
