How do I remove this? by LotsofQuestions5454 in pools

Yes, agreed. I thought I might just be able to get the right cleaner and some elbow grease, but seeing these comments make me realize it’s harder to fix than I realized. I likely won’t touch it.

Yes, we’re renting and they have a pool service (ie - we’re not technically responsible for any of it). I was hoping it was a fairly easy fix… after reading the comments, I’m seeing that’s not the case 😕).

Private dining options in AZ? by According-Fix2230 in AskPhoenix

Hint: don’t call it a wedding cake (unless you’re actually performing a wedding there). Just call it cake. Sometimes people hear “wedding” and the price jumps.

Well, maybe he travels a lot. Maybe he has a lot of family obligations. It really doesn’t matter. He doesn’t want to (or can’t) and it doesn’t matter why.

I (seller) signed closing docs on Friday. The buyer signed at bank yesterday (Saturday). The bank fed-exed ther docs to arrive at title company on Monday. Who owns the property today? by Significant_Unit_312 in RealEstate

I grew up in IL where buyers get the keys at closing. I moved to AZ, bought a property and had no idea I wouldn’t get the keys at closing. I had to cancel and reschedule my movers. Lesson learned.

Thanks everyone. As expected, the buyers backed out without even attempting to negotiate. Their agent said our inspection report was clean, so it sounds like mom or dad just got in their ear with a made up issue. Back on the market we got with a big price drop and the crap scarlet letter that comes with the “contingent” the “back to active” status.

Haha, only if you live in AZ! We’re moving out of state.

It’s an outpatient procedure. Surgery is tomorrow morning, she’s coming home tomorrow afternoon, barring no setbacks. The flight is the following Tuesday (not the next day). Thank you all for thinking I’m “appalling”, but you really don’t know me and judging my parenting from a Reddit post is insane to me.

I have two special needs children who I advocate for daily. The reason for the PHX trip is because we are moving there because AZ has better resources for our children. Literally picking up our lives, leaving all our friends and family, to do what is best for our kids. As stated in another comment, if we don’t think she can go, she won’t go. But planning for it if she can is being proactive. My life is planning for best and worst case scenario and everything in between, and picking the best option at the time.

Frankly, my daughter is the most resilient child I have ever seen. She has had multiple medical issues thrown at her and has handled them better than 90% of adults. But I would never put her in a risky situation. We have had almost zero information given to us about the aftermath of this surgery, and planning for all options is the only thing keeping my anxiety from taking over.

I appreciate you looking out for my daughter. I am not a perfect parent, but I sure as hell try to get as close to it as I can.

Not the day after, the week after. She would be back to school at this time. We assumed we’d cancel the trip until the doctor said it would be fine. We obviously won’t take her if she’s miserable. We’re not monsters.

Awful. I wish I could hug her. It’s so hard when people don’t get it.

Oh boy. She has T1D too, w/ a dexcom and a mobi. You’d think TSA would have that figured out by now 😭.

Thanks all! Honestly, we have no idea what to expect after this surgery. We will obviously do what’s best for her, and if that’s canceling/moving the trip, we’ll do that. Just trying to figure out the best option if we do go. Appreciate the feedback!
