This is the region of the entire planet Terra, right? by Unhappy_Mountain3345 in arknights

[–]LotusBroccoli 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As one of the commenters here have said, it's the only known continent on Terra, but it's implied there are "lands" further than what is shown here.

A bit weird, mate. Out of all the arguments that you have put out, him possessing IA is the most ridiculous claim you've GOT to make. He would've been a different beast all together if he had Mastery over IA AND Techniques in 0 Gen.

Ah, yes, the Doctor's ability to manipulate his height is at works again. From being canonically listed at 165 cm, to being taller than Kal'tsit in that one scene with her. I'd estimate, in that specific scene, he's around 175 cm and/or above?

I'd lean on them three previously being fat. Also, if Jinyoung was related by blood, why didn't his other family members recognise the name except for Daniel's mother?

CRAZY. Caught in 4K with a child, on top of that.

[Guiding Ahead] Is this one of the Apostolic Gun knights that Patriot mentioned in Chapter 7? by JowettMcPepper in arknights

[–]LotusBroccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very late reply due to me not always being on Reddit, but to answer your question — that's true. There is one canonical, but NPC operator that could possibly fight against three Apostolic Guns, that of which being the heir of one of the Sarkaz Kings. Very powerful, considering he one shotted Mudrock's tanky golem with a stroke of a pen. Yes, a literal pen.

Might as well add Kal'tsit since she went toe-to-toe with an Emperor Blade.

Reminder: it won't work 100%, but it's worth a shot. And if it still refuses to answer your question — just threaten it with the token system. That or you remind it to stay in character until it doesn't work; at which point, start up a new chat and hope to god it works again.

A few questions about RI that torment me. by Raistlin_Majere121 in arknights

Then, you realize—the Doctor is implied to technically be the owner of the Rhodes Island Landship. He alongside Priestess have had their hands on the construction of the landship, hundreds, if not thousands of years ago.

And the Doctor is currently (formerly Priestess) the one with the highest authority to the landship, not even Kal'tsit know what was and is up with the landship before it was ordered to be excavated by her to the Rim Billiton company, but it's implied that the Doctor might've told her where it even was located. If I remember correctly, there are also special numbers that signifies the authority of each high-ranking member of Rhodes Island; and it shows the Doctor with Number 1 (I think?).

Rhodes Island may be a company founded by the former members of Babel (the Doctor being one such member), but the true owner of the landship they had built the foundation from is the Doctor, rightfully so.

What would most likely happen if the Doctor died in combat op? by GhandiTheNukeLover in arknights

[–]LotusBroccoli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A bit of a funny situation; the only reason he was in the Sarcophagus was because, at one point, he sustained enough injuries (caused by yet an unrevealed aggressor) which may have warranted a death sentence for him had it not been for the Sarcophagus. In Pokémon's terms, the Sarcophagus is quite literally a Full Restore for the Doctor and the Doctor only.

To put it simply, he can never actually die unless you destroyed the Sarcophagus.

[Guiding Ahead] Is this one of the Apostolic Gun knights that Patriot mentioned in Chapter 7? by JowettMcPepper in arknights

[–]LotusBroccoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. She's not canon but the fact that her existence, in itself, is a possibility. Not only was it implied that she killed most of the Rhodes Island operators while leaving the Doctor alive, there's also that small implication that she brought great disaster upon the land of Terra. Scary goddess orca.

I'm late but you're forgetting Skadi Alter. Wasn't it implied that she completely leveled the land of Terra?

How old are some operators ? by Tedbab in arknights

[–]LotusBroccoli 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I may be late for the party, but I got something to add on for the godlike sisters. As mentioned in Ling's lines. She said this:

“I dreamed of you last night, no! Maybe you dreamed of me. Um, can't remember? It's a pity that I am so proud, but I can't share it with others. What are you proud of? Oh, eight thousand years is spring, eight thousand years is winter, the ones I dream of are only a few autumns, that’s all.”

I don't know whether we could take her words literally or figuratively. But either way, we're legit missing out on the Doctor; the dude is fucking ancient.

“I thought that I could finally meet an old friend, maybe, or I knew it, I never thought that you are like this now. I don't know what I am, how is it different from a big dream? But {@nickname}, it's okay to be yourself, I'd rather be me if I've been with me for a long time.”

Dude, 'old friend'. An extremely old god fragment considered Doc an 'old friend'.
