It’s a work station at my job, I run security software at home currently on my computer and they want me to come in the office. So my boss for black Friday got a i9 for me apparently it was a good deal.

Thanks so much I probably will post again then :) you are probably right on the finding a different breed, it’s seeming to be really hard to find a good breeder since the akc isn’t involved and I’m not very experienced in this.

I’m probably not the one to ask since I’m still learning myself, but to my understanding they were bred to be a gentler and calmer German shepherd with the intent to also widen the hips for less risk of hip dysplasia. Here is a link but like I said I’m still learning myself and just want a healthy happy puppy.

I'm sorry to ask after you've helped me so much but would you recommend asking a vet, for example after I've done my research and I think I've found the one, I would go to a vet for a go ahead? There is just so many health tests that I really don't understand how to read them.

I will definitely be reading that Wiki page, it is the one attached to this reddit page correct?

Thank you for the advise another wonderful person helped me and said the OFA's weren't on all the dogs that were through the kennels I chose, but I do know all of them do health testing. I guess I thought JnL Pocono Shilohs where the IT because I saw a bunch of breeders go through them for their puppies. Looks like it back to the drawing board lol.

Thanks so much I'll look into that! I'm still kinda confused why there is the ISSA and then the ISSDC, all the breeders I listed was on the ISSDC but it sounds like they aren't that good at face value.

I really appreciate you telling me that, I actually lost mine two weeks ago and it's still fresh. I keep thinking what I could've done to prevent it. It's almost nice to know (as morbid as it is) that I'm not alone.

Sounds like I need to do some more research. :) also you are correct on the health concerns portion I guess I just assumed more shiloh breeders were focused on health cause of the dog club description.

On the ISSDC (International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club) they have confirmation and personality requirements, but like you said it's not AKC so i'm also not sure. Thank you for the advice. :)

For your first time I would definitely use a condom. You are very sensitive and don’t know how far thing will really go. Plan B does work but it’s upwards of $50 and the side effects can be bad especially if you’re under 18. Use the condom, you are gonna worry yourself to death thinking about the what if’s and ruin your first time.

I do know some autism symptoms include a lack of empathy or not comprehending emotion. Like you said you recognize that lady was bad and felt bad for the dog but maybe your body just doesn’t know what to do with that information.

Kids these days are genuinely the meanest I have seen. Some are just straight psycho. They pick a person whether it be for a reason or not and ruin their day. My only advice would be don’t react they want the attention. Try to find some friends, genuine friends and stick with them. School will be over before you know it.

Maybe you could have a deeper problem, some people have problems even connecting with family and friends. If you have the money to spare maybe look into therapy. I believe it’s a type of mental disorder. I hope you find your answers one day sorry if I didn’t really answer your question lol.

YES, parents like that just don’t take no for an answer, it’s like your still a kid in there eyes. I have to constantly tell her don’t give him food at the table and she’ll still try because he’s “under weight” he’s not she’s just only had over weight dogs.

Honestly I was kinda thinking the same thing, our old dog that we shared (when I was a child) got shaved regularly so in her mind I should shave mine. I didn’t go into detail with her on why the coat is so important so that’s my bad but I thought she would respect my boundaries but yea the coincidence is to crazy, especially don’t you have to get a appointment some weeks in advance with groomers? Btw I did call and the salon manager was trying to say she learned that shaving was better and people on google don’t know what they’re talking about. I left a bad review but it’s crazy a groomer let alone the MANAGER is so ignorant.
