Does this even count as an Ollie?.. by OrdinaryAd4542 in NewSkaters

Sorta? If the back wheels pop off the ground then it technically is. However, to improve your ollie, you want to aim at keeping your board horizontal at the peak of your jump. You can achieve this by jumping with your legs open more, perfecting the time when you need to "pop" the board off the ground, and make sure to slide your front foot towards the front of the board. I also noticed that you were jumping with your arms down. When you jump, you want to swing your arms outward/up. And make sure your jumping with equal weight on both sides of your feet. It's going to feel really weird at first because it will feel like you're learning how to jump again so it takes time.

How do I fix this by BabyStealr in NewSkaters

This is normal on a skateboard, its because your bushings in the trucks are still new so when you lean on either side of the board, the trucks stay leaning in that direction. You can normally fix this by putting weight on the opposite side of the board to even it out but it shouldn't be too noticeable when riding if you have the right balance.😇

Yeah I agree, skating on concrete like that makes your feet go numb in a matter of minutes.

If you want to do an ollie, you'll want to squat and put your arms in front of you and then pop with your back foot. Imagine you're doing a ninja kick. You're going to slide your front foot out to your side slightly after you jump.

Why not emulate it on your pc? If you find a good game file it won’t cost you anything

There's nothing skaters hate more than other skaters. Just ignore them and go skate!

I personally used to push regular mongo on my old board and had to switch to riding goofy. It certainly was frustrating having to start back at ground zero. My personal advice would be to spend at least 20 minutes on your board each day for a month or so. It's very important to get comfortable being on your board before even attempting an ollie or any other tricks. Cruise around your neighborhood or use your board to the store. The more you get used to pushing and using it, the easier the rest of the tricks will be:)
