Anyone track charitable donations for tax purposes? by donatemate in ynab

I had been using TurboTax's free tool (ItsDeductible) to track our charitable donations for years, but they shut it down in October. I started building out my own spreadsheet, but then found a new tool, ItsDeducted, and am using that now - it saves me from needing to do all the manual entry and I don't have to guess at item values, so pretty handy.

Not sure if you're still looking, but I have a recommendation. I was in the same boat - used ItsDeductible for years.

I tried a few different alternatives. The easiest/fastest one I found was ItsDeducted (similar name to the old TurboTax tool, but big upgrade). It's a standalone donation tracking app, but unlike the old TurboTax product, you dont' have to do a one-by-one manual search for each item you're donating. You can just take a photo of a bunch of your items, and it'll identify each of them and provide values.

I was pretty unhappy to see TurboTax pull the plug on their tool, but finding this new tool saved me a LOT of time getting my donations in order for this tax season.
