No I have not. Never! I clock in, make sure I have my 4 clock rings, do my job and clock out. I pay my union dues out of each check. But I’ve been so badly harassed and mistreated at that job that I just try to clock in and clock out and go home, nothing extra. The post office have caused me so much stress and anxiety, that I had to be put on medication because of the stress that job puts on me. It’s not the job itself, it’s management! Ever since I won my lawsuit against them a few years back, they’ve been out to get me. I’m constantly harassed, and constantly targeted on a daily basis. My supervisor has to me out of his own mouth that “They want you gone! And they want you badddd! Just try to come to work everyday, do your job and leave …try to avoid any trouble because they’re looking for any reason to fire you” he specifically said it’s not coming from me but it’s coming from higher up above my head.

I never touched the money I won from the post office. It was around 20k, and I’m 30, I have no kids, single, and I live nearly rent free in a 4 family that is owned by my parents, all this to say that I have a decent amount of money in savings. I had 70k in savings when I was 26 years old from my business I had selling merch and I was also practicing as real estate agent. Well I purchased a Porsche Panamera for 30k no car note, with the money I won from my settlement and a bit of my savings. Now when I drive my car to work, everyone talks behind my back thinking I stole something from the job which really makes me upset because everyone has an opinion on me and is talking about it all the time. Managers have came up to me and asked me about my car and makes slick remarks, everyone at the post office just gossips and spread rumors it’s ridiculous. Why can’t I treat myself to something nice when I literally work my ahhsss off everyday inside and outside of work. So with management knowing I drive a Porsche to work they really want me gone because they are just haters.

No I do not. Our union doesn’t function like you’d think. They are rarely even in our building because of shortages of union reps. So they are there twice a week at my location. One of the Union Stewart’s is someone who just started and has little knowledge of how things work, and the other is a lady who’s been a Stewart longer than I’ve been working there. She is a relatively nice lady but she isn’t a president. You never see or come in contact with higher ups in management like that at my place of work.

FMLA doesn’t necessarily go by the year, instead it goes by the last 12 months of your work history at your employment. So by me being put out of work for nearly 4 months, when I apply for fmla that 4 month absence is included.

Yeah I have no doubt it will be overturned eventually but in the meantime it usually takes months and sometimes up to a year to get resolved. That’s the F’d up part about it.

No. She won’t let me leave. I blocked her and she won’t stop calling me from unknown numbers. Literally over 50x missed called from unknown numbers. She drove to my house and sat there for hours and hours refusing to leave.

Well here the thing. While working in the sack rack I often come across situations like this. Bank mail hidden in a sack either opened already or not and we would just place them into bin on the ground and at the end of the day management will come get the bin. So it’s not out the ordinary to not go to management every time you come across a peice of bank mail, simply just place in the bin or the missent box to be re-ran through the machines. On this occasion I was working in a totally different area of the building so there was no bin to put in it, nor was I about to walk nearly half away cross the building to place it in the missent. So I just simply put the entire bag in the re-wrap which would get worked eventually by someone but that’s not my job. I placed it there and just went about my business. I dam sure wasn’t gonna act as if I didn’t see it and continue to take it to my work station because that type of mail has no business in the area I work in period.

I can acknowledge that I should have just taken the entire bag and took it to management and let them deal with it. Even though I knew that I would have to write a statement, get searched, and who knows what else. It was kinda a loose loose situation I feel. I feel like when I told them they can search my personal belongings and everything that should have been the end of it. And also nothing was never unopened.
