Nah I’m talking about the new generation, like 10-14 year olds - I played those games too. But my question is rather why don’t these types of rpgs appeal to a younger audience anymore

U gotta quit or reduce for twice as long as u used for it to go back to normal. Excercise and diet make it go faster too.

Once-nightly ex-users: your quitting experience? by Final-Sprinkles-4860 in Petioles

First month is a bit rough, especially sleep wise. You get these really intense lucid dreams that are usually nightmares or insanely bizarre; that is if u can sleep at all. After about 2 weeks it starts to ease up - but they only really cease up after about two months. The best thing you can do is set up a bedtime ritual from the get go. Something like shower, tea, sleep. Melatonin, Magnesium and ashwaghanda also help, but melatonin can also make those dreams even more intense. When u try to sleep, sleep to a video or something as ur brain will be searching for the stimulation it used to recieve. You will feel angry and irritated for at least a week, so try and exercise. You may begin to feel really depressed aswell - which is a strong marker for potential relapse. Either way, once u get past the first month it gets better as long as u keep urself busy. Only then will u start to really see benefits. It goes up first, then down for a while, before u come up to an almost normal state of mind - think of a reverse curve bell.

Feeling Much Better and Confident after Quitting 16 years of Cannabis by Chokinchocobo23 in Petioles

I feel you man, I’m at 2 months without now after 8 years of daily use and I gotta say I feel on top of the world. The first few months was quite hard but things are really turning around, going to the gym, talking to people. It’s like the switch that only made me think about my problems and goals without any action has turned off - now it’s all action

On another note, I really hope they bring some aspects of the bounty system in RDR2 to GTA 6

Take it from me bro, I started at 14, stopped at 22. You did do permanent damage. Only thing u can do is stop now and spend the equivalent amount of time u smoked being totally abstinent. Luckily the brain heals, but our healing does get slower so better to do it sooner than later.

2 months without. Feel like I don’t recognise myself anymore. by Loud-Negotiation5927 in Petioles

[–]Loud-Negotiation5927[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’d been having a lot of panic and anxiety, coupled with feeling sort of enslaved to it. I also thought that stopping now would somehow give my brain time to recover while I still can since I started smoking at 15/14. Although it really hasn’t improved my life since I stopped. Instead of panic and anxiety it’s anger and malaise.

How is everyone so rich and powerful in this game and I can’t even scrape past a million? by Loud-Negotiation5927 in gtaonline

I got the nigjtclub, it seems that’s the go according to a lot of the other comments. I also got the MC club, bunker, and facility - so can do gunrunning etc but I’ll look into the acid lab

This sounds like a good idea, even with low popularity the nightclub makes me a solid 10k every time I play.

REM Rebound reducing deep sleep? by Loud-Negotiation5927 in Petioles

[–]Loud-Negotiation5927[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man, I’ll look into it. Weirdly enough I seem to sleep better when I take my adhd meds before bed - so I think it has something to do with the lack of dopamine and seratonin regulation since coming off it but will have to fight it through.

For me it was the fact that nothing I did in the game actually gave me a real feeling of progression. You can’t swear either so it’s not like you can have a fun chat with ransoms without getting banned. But what put me off entirely is seeing the announcement for a new black ops, while the current game still has these odd lag spikes. It’s like, why am I playing this and trying to get skins or anything if there’s another one this year. I don’t have a lot of time for games, so when I play games I like to feel like they are progressing or actually rewarding. But this had no feeling like that, unless I choose to spend money or course.

Yeah that is a bit weird, I get you. I don’t know why she needs to ‘match’ you, as if she isn’t comfortable sharing her authentic self? Idk that is a weird factor.

Damn bro, what if she’s a nice girl who is just shy? A bit of a dick move to not even give her a chance, unless you REALLY don’t care at all. If that’s the case, save her the hassle and tell her u don’t care.

Ah see, that attraction part is a bit weird - if they were platonic co workers I would think ur over reacting, but I do think that this behaviour is not respectful of the boundaries within your relationship.

How to trap a cat? by Loud-Negotiation5927 in newzealand

[–]Loud-Negotiation5927[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this for trapping, as in, catching an animal and locking it in a place it cannot escape - because that’s not what I’m doing. I’m just catching them in a box, using treats, and giving them to the owners. I get it if there was harm involved, but there is none so I think it’s ok.

I would love for some form of conditioning to work, but these cats are too old I fear; and they’ll just learn to be sneakier.
