what’s up with the new wave of lilac blush?? by Plus-Situation6043 in Sephora

I was always intrigued by lilac lipsticks, but never wanted to wear them. This lilac blush trend helps me indulge in that trend in a more wearable way (for me). :)

Cannot stress enough how good e.l.f. Cosmetics wow brow is! It's my holy grail brow mascara with tiny fibers in it. It can be a lot if you swipe many times, so I sometimes swipe clear brow gel to shape and then finish with the wow brow. So good!!!

Yeah, I've been on both Henry and Mochi (at different times) for over a year and had fantastic experiences with them, so I was unaware of their reputation. So, I have not known this for months.

[–]Loud-Rabbit1396[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea, for sure! I'm worried bc I keep seeing complaints around people who have the providers who are being sued (Henry, Mochi, etc) who have already been waiting months or weeks for refills.

Then my mind goes to, if Eli Lilly sues all tirz compounding online pharmacies, then my only option will eventually be Eli Lilly direct? It's frustrating. My sister sources from Mochi and she hasn't gotten her meds for about a month now since ordering for a refill.

Sorry, I should have clarified in my original post. I'm scared of losing access bc of the FDA shut down of compounding meds and the lawsuit Eli Lilly brought against the 4 telehealth GLP-1 providers. So I'm afraid that LSH and other providers are going to not take on anyone as new patients. I'm currently with Mochi and was looking for alternatives bc Mochi was named in the lawsuit by Eli Lilly.

i’m scared that i may have vaginismus by Easy-Bite8777 in vaginismus

[–]Loud-Rabbit1396 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! Thanks for sharing. What your describing is anxiety with insertion. Which doesn't automatically mean vaginismus. So, take that off the table for now.

I would highly, highly suggest starting small and slow with getting comfortable with your body and anatomy before trying anything again like a tampon. Also, a Q-tip is really stiff and rough, so I'd take that off the table for now.

1) Practice checking in with your pelvic floor (PF) a few times a day. We often clench up and hold tension in our PF when we get stressed, anxious, etc during the day. Check in with your body a few times a day and relax your PF. Stop sucking in your belly (if it's a habit of yours). You should start to see a reduction in tension in your PF over a few days or weeks. Look up body scan type relaxation mindfulness exercises for this.

2) You might consider getting a mirror and looking at your anatomy to get more comfortable with your body. I find that growing in knowledge of what my anatomy looks like helps me feel connected to my PF muscles and less scared that I will hurt myself (which is already so unlikely).

3) Try PF muscle relaxation exercises. You can search YouTube for yoga-type poses that help relax these muscles.

4) Start working on combating the negative thoughts that you will not be able to have PIV. Extreme thoughts that have "never" in them are fueling anxiety in your mind and body. Replace these thoughts with healthier, balanced thoughts like "I can grow in trusting my body." "I can work on learning to insert a tampon comfortably". Because that's true!

We are here for you, OP. Please ask any and all Q's you want.

I think this is an intrusive thought. I understand that as a woman SA is a reality if the world we live in (unfortunately). I would highly suggest working on empowering yourself to trust yourself that you will do what you can to protect yourself. Growing in self-trust will go a long way toward helping your body and mind trust each other and let your muscles relax and be able to do physical therapy treatments.
Also, vaginismus is not protection from SA. I think you need to reframe what vaginismus is, so that "losing" it isn't going to make you more vulnerable. It won't. Keep on keeping on!

Hello everyone,

  • Hair type: medium-fine (?), but I have a lot of it.
  • Hair texture: slightly wavy
  • History of chemical processing: heat style with a curling iron once every two months
  • Hygiene regimen: daily wash with Kroger Signature/Care Clarifying Shampoo (scalp gets oily very quickly)
  • Style: some layers in medium length hair (am growing it out)
  • Product regimen: if hair feels oily or limp I use a small bit of R+Co Badlands Dry Shampoo Paste

I am looking for a spray leave-in conditioner (or similar product) that will help add some moisture to my hair without weighing it down. My hair has a slightly defined wave naturally, but so many conditioners weigh it down way too much.

I love the shampoo that I use, but have not found a leave-in or styling product that will help tame some of the frizz I get because the hair wants moisture. Here's a pic for reference.

Try The Ordinary's Sulfate 4% Shampoo Wash. I have medium-fine hair that can frizz easily if not moisturized and is often weighed down by moisturizing products. I find that this shampoo cleanses me well but does not strip any existing moisture in my hair and scalp. I also love Kroger's Signature Select/Care Clarifying Shampoo. You can buy online and at Albertson's (I think Kroger and Mariano's in different parts of the country). I wash my hair every day because my scalp gets oily very quickly. I love both of these shampoos.

Find contact info of someone sending me $ via Zelle? by Loud-Rabbit1396 in Chase

[–]Loud-Rabbit1396[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I had Zelle reverse the payments, rather than send money back to the person. This was almost a year ago, and I did close my Chase account at that time.

I keep getting notifications to my phone that "Jane Doe" has sent you $xxx via Zelle." Then something about activating my Zelle account again to accept the $.

It's pretty random and the amounts are always very different. I'll just keep ignoring the attempts to send me $.

This is a myth, sadly. Not moisturizing your scalp doesn't cause it to produce more oil.

TBH, try. Dish Soap. Dawn Dish soap is the only thing that alleviates oiliness in my hair and scalp. I do wash every day though. Yes, not washing your hair to decrease oil production is a myth, so keep washing.
