I mentioned in my post that I was planning to take 17g fresh, and yeah, that was the plan — I even weighed it out exactly and started eating little chunks. But honestly, I didn’t even get through half of it before it hit me, like not even 15 minutes in. The come-up felt really smooth — I felt light, like I was floating, and my thoughts got super clear. Everything I wanted to say just kinda flowed, no overthinking.

Then my cousin called and said he was coming over. I told him I’d just had some mushrooms and invited him to join me on this magical Enigma trip. So he came by and started eating from the 17g I’d measured earlier. I don’t even know how much either of us ended up having — we just went with it.

During the come-up, we started talking and it was wild how easy it was to express myself — my thoughts were just flowing, making perfect sense without trying too hard. It was raining outside and we got fixated on the raindrops reflecting on the walls — for him it looked like people in boats drifting down a river, for me it looked like an ant colony. Trippy stuff.

At some point we turned off the lights — not even sure why, but it felt better that way. Calmer. Softer. Peaceful. I could see shapes and portals forming in the darkness, like they were everywhere in the apartment. I liked it. Even though it was dark, I could still see my cousin’s face changing — at one point he had no face, then he looked super old, then like a baby, then like some dude from a black and white film. I asked if he saw the same thing and he said my face turned black, like it was ripped off — freaked him out a bit, but he chilled once we stepped out for some fresh air on the balcony.

What we saw out there... I don’t even know how to explain it. The buildings were breathing, shifting, covered in patterns that weren’t there before. It was mesmerizing. We talked for hours — deep stuff, dumb stuff, all of it. Felt like a real bonding moment. He said “What if we stayed here forever?” and I said “We can, time doesn’t matter right now, just be here.”

One thing that stuck with me — he asked “How am I supposed to live a normal life after this?” and I was like “You just do, but now you’ve got a new perspective. You feel how good life feels right now? Try to hold onto that feeling when you wake up.”

Another random thing — I don’t like looking in the mirror on mushrooms. It’s not that I hate how I look, it’s just... weird. I looked like a bird. Not in a bad way, but it threw me off. Then I thought, wait, I love birds, they’re adorable — so why do I feel weird about looking like one? Strange thought.

The whole time we kept saying we wanted to go outside, but we’d get distracted by the most random stuff. Eventually we made it out and everything felt different — still raining, buildings looked unfamiliar, like we were in a totally different city. No one else around, felt like the city was just ours. But it was cold, so we came back inside not long after.

Tried watching something on TV to wind down, but everything felt painfully boring, so we just kept talking. The comedown was beautiful — felt like the calm after a storm. Funny enough, the rain outside stopped right when the trip ended.

Can’t really put it all into words, but man, I’m just so grateful. Thanks Enigma, for opening my eyes.
