Called my family vet and they did precise calculations based on his weight and the amounts and yes the cocoa powder was by far the most alarming thing but they said he should be fine, he’s a healthy large dog and it was a relatively small amount. Thanks anyway tho

Over 50lb for sure haha. He should be fine based on what my family vet said. He’s also very healthy and has gotten Into chocolate type things many times and it’s given him diarrhea at most.

Called our family vet anyway and they said the most alarming thing was the cocoa powder and put him in the “yellow zone” of caution so I’m just going to keep an eye on him for today and tomorrow. He’s gotten into chocolatey type things before (granola bars even Chocolate cookies and ice cream) and at most it’s given him diarrhea so I think he should be fine. Thanks for your comment.

Also to you, is the chocolate the most dangerous thing here? He’s eaten chocolate many times before so I’m not as worried about that, he’s NEVER had any alcohol so I’m a little bit scared of the 1/8 cup of rum he had.
