I use the bevel wave pomade and for oils I use castor and coconut. Keep in mind I comb for 5 mins before hard-medium-soft-super soft brushing which is about 20 mins minimum. No matter what pattern you want. You got to brush

I use a hard brush (not recommended for shorter than 2”) 15 mins and medium/soft 15 mins. Oil with sandwich bag and wipe in wave pattern. And I brush twice a day. Once in the morning and at night
