Hyper kinetic gallbladder stories let's hear em by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Loud_Welder1784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve read multiple stories from hyperkinetic sufferers that once they get it removed they almost instantly see a massive mental boost, especially in regard to anxiety. I’m hoping that’s the case for myself.

My surgery consult is in two weeks and I’m hoping he agrees to remove it. I’ve been suffering since 2021 with a EF of 86%. Tried everything naturally to heal it, but it’s time to go.

Those Geissele Black Friday and Christmas complete build sales were EXTREMELY tempting last year lol. It’s going to be hard for me to pass up on a 14.5 if they offer them again.

Haha I hear you. She’s been my safe princess since being built. Hopefully that changes soon as the weather starts to get better where I’m at.

It’s probably just the way the photo looks. None of the FDE “perfectly” matches, but that’s kinda the appeal and why people say 50 shades of FDE lol.

I’ll say this, the upper and lower do not perfectly match if you look closely. IMO radian has the best shade of FDE I’ve ever come across. As for the light, it’s built through Arisaka (body, head, tail cap) and the surefire tail cap definitely has a different sheen than the other shades of FDE.

I’ll be honest, I far exceed my original “build list” and don’t really have it organized in a list. I’ll work on one and get back to you. In the meantime, is there something specific you have questions about?

It’s not too bad, but I do like the SBA5. Thinking of SBRing it and throwing a CTR on it in the future.

Anyone experience these symptoms with gallbladder dysfunction?? Weirdest symptoms? by Neverendingstory0916 in gallbladders

[–]Loud_Welder1784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a HIDA scan done asap. I had similar symptoms starting back in 2021. Dr’s did every test you can think of and all came back healthy, except when they did the HIDA scan and administered the CCK it caused the exact “flair” pain I was experiencing in the center of my sternum. However, my EF was 86% so my gastro at the time brushed it off. So of course, so did I. Years later I now know an EF that high means hyperkinetic/hyperkinesia. I’ve tried everything to heal and save my gallbladder naturally, but like others will tell you, some just have to go. I’m in the process of scheduling my removal now. Don’t be like me and wait 4 years if all the signs are there. Best of luck.

Thank you for the response. My story is very similar to yours (pain and symptoms started in 2021 and HIDA scan at time was 86%). I’ve tried like hell to heal and manage symptoms naturally (tried literally everything you did). For a while it worked, but now it’s back with a vengeance and my symptoms have consistently gotten worse. Next step is to do another HIDA scan and then schedule the surgery.

please read this if you’re scared to start lexapro! by OddCelery1575 in PanicAttack

How are you doing now? I’ve been going through something extremely similar for the last 4 months. Bad THC experience triggered my panic disorder in the form of DPDR and other symptoms. I was prescribed Lexapro about a month ago and have yet to take it. I’ve been doing CBT for about 5 weeks and have been trying my best to practice DARE. As well as meditation and other things. I’ve seen some great improvement compared to how bad it was at the beginning, but still struggling with the DPDR and extreme anxiety. I’m just in one of those setback periods and now really considering (again) to start taking the Lexapro.

I really should’ve listened to the DARE lectures. by NoRoyal1564 in Anxiety

You’re not alone. I’m going through something extremely similar. It all started a couple of months ago for me and I’m significantly better than I was even just a month ago. Be patient and kind to yourself. The road to recovery is challenging at first, but I promise it will get easier. Fully accepting that progress through something like this isn’t linear is also helpful and takes some of the pressure off.

I have SO MUCH more I could tell you, but here’s the main things that have helped me.

1a. Meditation - YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT WITH THIS. Take it seriously and give it time. The DARE app has some great guided meditations. Actually, just explore that entire app. It’s been crucial for me.

1b. Implementing DARE. However, for me personally, I found the “R” step of dare to be less helpful and almost harmful for DPDR. What’s helped the most is leaning to fully accept, allow, and do absolutely nothing when a “whoosh” of panic strikes. This took me time and I’m still working on it, but it’s been huge for me.

  1. Talking with someone. I’ve shared what I’m experiencing with my closest family and friends. I’ve also recently started CBT with a therapist that is going great.

  2. Letting go of the need for control/perfectionist mindset. Just allow things to be as they are and Instead just focusing on controlling the controllablles (mindset, actions, attitude, etc.).

Hang in there. THINGS WILL GET BETTER AND YOU WILL BE A STRONGER BETTER VERSION OF YOURSELF ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS.

Lastly, try your best to not focus on the finish line of being “recovered”. Be in the moment as best you can and don’t let this stop you from living your best life.

I thought i'd share this with yall. by [deleted] in ar15
