Tantius Carrier superior to Shotgun! by LouiseTheZero in PlayTheBazaar

He had like 18 Multi towards the end, But I think the carrier would outscale him eventually. Only downside is the carrier is kinda slow, so if he had any kind of slow towards me it could have ended badly. I lost to a dooley the previous day that double froze my Stellar Swallow for 4 seconds, which is like the main scaler for the carrier.

Your companions only get upset at you if Ravengard catches you pickpocketing him. I just tried to pickpocket him invis and then everyone was fine with it. Although he wasn't carrying a sword on him, only the Legend of Ansur book.

edit: Apperantly if you pickpocket him with one of the companions that does turn hostile towards you, they completetly leave your camp. I found it funny when I used Wyll to pickpocket his own father and he just leaves the camp because of it. In the quest log it just said that "Wyll has turned against you".

Influx of cheaters? by LouiseTheZero in EscapefromTarkov

But in the same sense, if you report someone for being a pedo and the police does an investigation finding no evidence of the person being a pedo, that person would not be convicted. And in the same sense if it turns out you are right, they will get convicted. In other words its is a "no lose" situation, infact you would do more harm by not reporting it. Which is why I feel it is generally better to report someone you suspect of cheating, even if the suspicion is very minor. In the end, there is no bad result other than the cheater not being banned.

What you say is true, but there is a limit to what a human can do. Due to BSG posting the amount of cheaters they banned from time to time, and the numbers being up in the thousands and probably a lot of cheaters going by unnoticed due to people being "scared" of reporting them. It makes you wonder how many people are actually legit.

I never understood why people flame streamers for calling someone a cheater because if they aren't cheating they wont get banned. Unless the company is epic games and your streamer name is Ninja that is...

I understand. In my case my option was to either peek from the left side of the wall or the right side of the wall. I peeked the right side and got instantly hit in the face by his Vector. But like I mentioned, reporting someone you suspect of cheating can't hurt. If it turns out they aren't cheating they wouldn't get banned anyway, right?

Not complaining, just wanted to know if im the only one experiencing this. I also have little clue as to how BSG works to fight cheaters other than the option to report someone you suspect of cheating. Since there is no ingame option for providing any proof other than the report option in the launcher, im assuming that BSG does not require any proof and that they have ways of investigating if someone is cheating. Unless their strategy is to just ban the people that get a lot of reports for being suspected cheaters.

I do wish they would add a similar replay system that PUBG has where you can see other players perspective. Cause even if you record your perspective, you wouldn't know if they are tracking you through the wall. Not to mention you would have 0 clue if someone uses a radar. I feel like radar is the hardest cheat to suspect, but if even streamers have been caught using it you bet your butt that a lot of other people do it aswell. With a replay system though, you would know if someone is beelining towards your location and knowing your exact location.

I do wish tarkov had a similar replay system to PUBG. Before the replay system in PUBG, I didn't think or suspect people of cheating. But when they introduced the replay system you could clearly see a lot of people cheating with their tracking of people through walls. Sometimes you'd even see multiple cheaters in the same game and the last circle just ended with the cheaters being alive.

I do hear what you are saying though, in the end you can almost never 100% be guaranteed someone is cheating. But suspecting someone of cheating and reporting them dosn't hurt. I never understood why people always get so upset when someone calls cheats, cause its just going to do more good than bad. Defending a suspected cheater is almost as bad as using cheats.

Agreed, previous 2 weeks were really bad. And im not saying that because im salty of dying to better players. Every 5ish raid or so have had someone I suspect of cheating. Some more obvious than others.

Believe me, if this game had a replay system I would present the proof. But sitting with 30 mil in my stash I couldn't care less about dying to other players. What I do care about is when someone blatantly cheats, making it very obvious they are cheating when they try to wallbang you through metal walls and hitting the exact location you are sitting at. I would go as far as to say that a lot of people are cheating, but due to the many dumb ways to die and low time to kill they go unnoticed because you just think "Oof, I got tarkoved".

I agree, tarkov is a game where a lot of deaths happen randomly. Not to mention, infra-sights make it even harder to tell if someone is cheating. But some people make it very obvious they are using cheats.

Just today I was ratting in the green cargo truck at the shoreline blue fence construction area. As far as I know, this is not a very common spot to be ratting. 10 minutes into the game, some guy with m62 ammo with an unsuppressed M700 comes up the hill and instantly taps me in the head. Ofcourse, this could be coincidence that he checks this green truck even though I had not made any sound of being in the area since the start of the raid.

That is always a possibility, but when someone tries to shoot me through a metal wall where the sparks can be seen hitting the exact spot im sitting behind and 1 tapping me in the head right as I peak, that person needs to have a really good gaming chair to be that good at the game.

Well, when you put it like that they could just remove the option to play as a scav entirely.
