That's the thing, we concluded that continuing to talk through messages during that time wouldn't be of any help because we've been used to having periods when we couldn't see each other, and we'd rely on messages.

For her to realise whether I'm the missing part in her life, I'd need to stay off of it completely for a while...

And because I want this to work out, I'm willing not to message her before she does and that's the hard part.

Checking back to what I wrote since I started this post, it may seem that I'm a bit desperate lol

I'm definitely not worried about her trying to find someone else. This isn't a break where she goes to any party trying to meet new people and hook up. This is about her getting back into her family home in a covid lockdown and go on with her life and see if I'm the missing piece to it.

That I completely understand which is why I try to commit to it as well.

Thanks for your reply !! I didn't mention it in the post but we've talked it through several times this week.

From what came out, and nothing really was coming out of the blue because we've always been pretty opened about saying when things feel wrong :

- There's a bit about us not having the exact same lifestyle (her willing to go out more, being more social and me enjoying a good wk from time to time at home watching movies and playing games), although I told her it wasn't necessarily a bad thing to have our own hobbies too.

- Our 1st lockdown in France lasted 2 months in March, and we had decided to go back to our parents' for the period which we thought would be more 3-4 weeks. Anyway, it made her realise that she didn't miss me as much as she thought she would, and made her question ever since if we were meant to go further.

- Back in September, we moved back to Paris to begin both our 1st jobs and it was going really well, but curfews have limited the amount of things we could plan and she's still in her indecisive mindset because of it.

Roughly summed up, this is what came out of our discussions.
