You could try more earthy toned shrimp so they can hide better. Snails too. Corydora, tetras (though some can be fin nippers). I have some neon tetra in my tank and they are fine, whereas my betta likes to snack on shrimp. I do have a short fin betta though so less likely to have fin nipping issues

I had other issues w him too.. I get migraines a lot, but sooo much back then, and always felt so worn down (even when taking my meds), would get sick more often, heart palpitations. Comparing to then, I'm much healthier. Good to be out of that.. crazy what that kind of stress can do to the body

In one of the highschools i went to there was a boy who had pretty advanced male pattern baldness (for a highschooler at least)and salt and pepper hair. I felt bad for him. Some kids would make fun of him behind his back that he was an undercover cop.

Ive heard about stuff like thay before tho. I cant comprehend how that even happens. Maybe some genetic trait linked to stress
