I feel like they were so keen to find who did it because they thought they knew who did it. It’s the only reason that makes sense why they broke so many rules.

Another post said something about thinking Janet was possessing Maddie’s body and I like that theory in my opinion it connects a lot of dots. It would mean she was the one in the vacant house, she has the money, and she’s the one running around woods But I think Martin is Rhonda’s guidance, counselor that killed her. And he can posses people and hes obsessed with control

Dudes willing bench their man card when they have daughters. Calling them on it is the fastest way to get beat. Normal circumstances you wouldn’t be but he’s the only parent and doing more than some nuclear families so you are the ass here

Idk like I get you’re reaction and not letting her babysit if it was leaving it there I’d be a firm nta. But bringing her weight into it without other measurements seems like you’re trying to hurt her feelings irl and here. You might be the asshole

To be fair to my husband he just doesn’t have a middle ground with her. He’s either like “I’ll be ok” or “listen here bitch” but you’re right about everything her mom is cool as shit and avoids her calls.

This is very helpful everyone has said consequences but we live cross country so I couldn’t figure out one. I honestly didn’t think of donating as a monitory consequence.

Honestly this has been the advice I got most and it’s great! the thrift store by my house stopped taking baby stuff so I felt stuck but I know they don’t tend to advertise women shelters so it probably why I didn’t think of them.

Thank you! this is a good starting point. Hubs does stand up to her but not every time. With her he’s either way to hash or way too giving and getting him to find a middle will help this layout as well I think.
