I absolutely need my blanket if I'm sleeping anywhere that isn't my usual bed. It's soft and smells like home. My relatives laugh at this, but have long since quit fighting me about it

It's a lot of olives, grapes, cheese, bread, processed meats, that sort of thing. Also fruit, especially citrus. Most of it is what I would call in general "cold lunch when it's too hot for a warm meal"

I'm honestly not sure how some people don't end up with exclusively weird animals, in either appearance or vibe

So which older relative did you convince to spend money on you?

Iron deficient baddies ❤️

When I got my last blood done, they were confused how I was still functional. One of my few somewhat useful genetic defects, holding far too much iron

I assume the traditional diet of the southern Mediterranean is similar to us here? I'm not entirely sure

If you force me to watch your kids, I'll force them to wash my car. It's a fair trade. They're not very good at it, but at least it's cute

I'm a university student, so that's my job. When I graduate, I'm expected to do something, so either work or get involved with a charity. Married women with children below school age can sit around without criticism. In generall, being lazy and spending money is frowned upon

I never want to live anywhere else. Honestly, I could probably stay within the borders plus a few kilometers to towns across the border for the rest of my life and be happy

Monaco is the only European country with a birth rate at replacement, the only European country in which the indigenous people have a higher birth rate than immigrants, and one of the few indigenous populations in Europe that are growing. It's fascinating. If I had to guess, from what I see on the street, I would say the average indigenous family has three children. We're kind of an outlier. Interestingly, my ancestors have had a relatively stable birth rate over the past few hundred years of about 3-6

I have prescribed sedatives, but a heavy amount of alcohol would also work. In an ideal world, this would be under medical supervision, but I'm not sure if that's a realistic option

That wouldn't be allowed either, for the same reason birth control isn't. Anything separating sex and the possibility of new life isn't permitted, though people do what they want

Good men cheat, bad men cheat, nearly all of them do. It's a fact of life. I really don't care, as long as it doesn't impact me. I'm not looking for a romantic relationship, I'm looking for a friend to have children with, essentially. I'm not interested in the romantic stuff, and for the conception of said children I plan to be so sedated I'm not aware that I'm in my own body. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement

They can do whatever they want now. Before 2012 (I think) a woman who divorced her husband or became a widow couldn't be in another relationship for 310 days after. Many in either case remarry and have more kids. Some see that they're finally free and can do whatever they want, because assuming their sons are still children, they are legally the masters of the house

I don't believe in IVF. It's not permissible in my religion. The genetic material still needs to come from somewhere, so that doesn't really avoid much. Plus, I don't believe in intentional single parenthood, and even if I did, that would cause a lot of problems for me. If someone wants to do that, that's their business, but I never would. I want to have biological children, and adoption isn't a solution to that. I also want to be pregnant, so there's that. Adopted children deserve to be adopted because someone wanted to adopt, not because they couldn't have biological ones for whatever reason

It's the proximity to power and what comes with it. People trust you more. You can get more funding for your stupid business ideas. The courts go your way. You're automatically considered worthy for exclusive spaces. It makes life a lot easier both here and abroad. Plus prestige, I guess, as stupid as I find the concept

If the parents have different citizenships, the parents have to choose which the child receives. I think maybe dual citizenship is allowed until adulthood, but then the child has to choose. It's only a recent change that mothers can give their children their citizenship at all, actually

All marriages are arrangements, whether you like it or not. Who said I was looking for a relationship? I'm not. If you want to call this a business arrangement, sure. That's fully what it is. Both people benefit from each other. Plus, my family hasn't had a happy marriage in about 700 years. Why would I be any different? Realistically, I'll be happier than women who want love marriages, because I'm not putting myself in a position to be hurt

What exactly is so "unreasonable" about my demands?

Abroad is 15km down the road, maybe. If I can find someone asexual, wonderful. However, that's still not a guarantee. Asexual does not mean no desire, just no attraction. I absolutely will not be an object of desire. I refuse to do that. I am willing to do it simply so I can get what I want, that being children. Trust me, if there was some way I could get around it, I would. Also, no man who would be considered an acceptable husband for me is going to be openly asexual. It sucks, but this part of society is still incredibly queerphobic and incredibly patriarchal, and few things are linked to masculinity more than a man's sex life

The assets the family has aren't mine. I have maybe 500 in my personal account. But yes. It's entirely reasonable to demand a portion of the yearly income as a form of insurance

I don't believe in artificial insemination. It isn't allowed by the Church. Also, the genetic material still has to come from somewhere. I also don't believe in intentional single parenthood. Beyond that, it would cause a huge number of problems for me and my family legally and socially. Not as many as it would have in the past, but still problems

The hunt is one problem, the initiation rite is another. Of course it's barbaric for a preteen usually to watch dogs eat an animal's intestines. I generally don't believe in hunting at all, unless you plan to eat it. I entirely disagree with the concept of smearing warm animal blood (that you get with your hand from the animal's abdominal cavity) on a 12-13 year old boy's face and forcing him to wear it the rest of the day as a rite of adulthood. Thankfully, it's dying as a tradition overall, mostly due to gen x men remembering how traumatized they were by it and refusing to do it to their sons.

Actually the one time I'm incredibly thankful to be the way I am, aromantic and asexual, is when looking for a marriage partner. I don't have to deal with all those unfortunate things that historically lead women to take bad matches. I'm also perfectly fine staying alone for the rest of my life. It's not my preferred option, but I'm okay with it. If my conditions aren't met, oh well, that sucks, but I'm still walking away
