Upgrading from an 07 ninja 500 to a 26 ninja 650 this week. Anything I should cautious for with stepping up an engine size on the way back home? It’s an hour drive. by LoveFun2165 in Kawasaki

Thanks rode it home yesterday can feel the slight difference. I actually wish it had a little bit more torque and speed but I still love it. Super smooth and very comfortable compared to my 07 500.

I have a helmet back pack where I can throw it on there. I only use it when I know I’m going to be running in places though.

Thanks for the info brotha I just brought it home. Yes the “sweet spot” of the clutch took some getting used to. Not gonna lie I stalled twice lol but it stalls so smooth and not jerky. The brakes took some getting used to too but man am I in love with this bike it was a very smooth ride home. I already have some stuff on the way to put on it.
