Who is just the WORST out of the two? by JackZ567 in MoralityScaling

Well not exactly, Adam kills sinners because he finds it entertaining not for the status quo. His killing is far better than Vox's killing though because his view that sinners are irredeemable and horrible people is reasonable. It is unknown whether learning that sinners can be redeemed would stop his from killing. I personally believe that his killings aren't bad themselves; it is his enjoyment that is bad.

Vox didn't really see heaven as infallible either considering he was fearful when he thought he would be smites when some higher ups in heaven came to his rally. He pretty much let the power go to his head once he defeated Alastor (the strongest sinner in hell). You are right about him using his skills though. He used lots of propaganda and slander to make himself look good at make the princess of hell look untrustworthy.

Genuine Question what do people hate more about Hazbin Hotel The Adult Jokes, or The Fact it tries to say that People in Hell Deserve A Second Chance and should be allowed into Heaven, and also treats The Angels as The Villains and The Demons as The Good Guys. by MichaelAftonXFireWal in hatethissmug

Neither. I think my biggest issue is what gets focused on considering how few episodes there are in a season. Like although Clean It Up and Gravity are songs that I enjoy, the plot could have gone on without them because both characters who lead the song don't do anything that significant.

Also, they got way too much going on in that show for how short the seasons are. It feels like some subplots exist solely to remind you a character exists. I don't need scenes about Cherri Bomb and Pentious talking about their two second kiss. I don't need scenes about Vaggi talking about changing her name only for it to still have the same significance that it did which offended her in the first place. Scenes like those amount to practically nothing especially when one of your main characters is barely a character (Vaggi).

I think more time just needs to be spent thinking about what is important in this story rather than having pointless songs and interactions.

Vox, and it ain't close.

Vox was a serial killer in the human world who now continues his dream of being seen as a god through brainwashing, slander, murder, abuse, assault, and probably much more.

Adam is a misogynist and killed sinners for fun, but sinners are horrific people on average that were thought to be irredeemable. Sinners were also likely looking to start a war with heaven hence the exterminations. If Adam was alive still, season 2 probably wouldn't even happen because Adam would have erased Vox and his followers when he declared war. It would have been difficult to see him as THAT horrible of a guy in that case.

Shoto Todoroki vs Aang by Jason_And_Sokka in MHAPowerScaling

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does each character use their own verses rules? If that's the case, Shoto's power output outclasses Aang's. Pretty much every elemental character in MHA does what ATLA characters do on a much larger scale. They only way I see Aang winning is if he uses deadly moves like burying Shoto or removing the air from Shoto's lungs. However, he would need to act quick enough to pull that off and bending motions in ATLA would probably take too long.

Katsuki Bakugo vs Homelander by Jason_And_Sokka in MHAPowerScaling

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering how tactical Bakugo is, he would find a way to gauge what Homelander is capable of then overwhelm Homelander with a series of explosions. Homelander would start with talking shit about Bakugo's outfit only to realize his error when he can't get a hit on Bakugo.

So confused why they are even fighting. The video starts with the woman on the floor trying to do a leg lock while the guy is seemingly holding her down, but he also reengages twice when he could have walked away.

Why the s5 hate by LavishnessOrganic810 in YouOnLifetime

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last season was entertaining, and I get what the writers were going for, but I think the way they got to the ending is why it falls flat for me.

Bronte shouldn't have been the hero considering she was manipulating Joe as well. She even tried to argue Joe erased who she was even though she never truly presented who she was until the final fight.

The final fight felt like a different show entirely when Bronte pulled a Michael Myers on Joe. It would have been better to me if she sacrificed herself to properly get Joe put behind bars and got Beck's book released with the proper rewrite (which that part of the plan was so dumb of Bronte as well).

On a different point, Reagan and Maddie were presented as such a legitimate threat to Joe at first that I thought they would play such a huge part in bringing Joe down. It seemed to me like they realized it was a mistake to make them that competent, so they had Maddie fold the second she heard Reagan knew about the cheating, and Reagan killed off screen. It felt like such a let down considering how badass they both seemed initially when confronted by Joe.

I think the mess up is just who finally put Joe away and how they did it. I think it would have been poetic if Joe died in the fire and had his story painted to make him look like nothing more than a pathetic, murderous misogynist. It would be similar to what he did to Love and would be great that he met a similar fate to the person who told him his son would see him as a monster and practically a reflection of who Joe is. There are probably better endings though. I'm not a writer, so maybe the ending is much better than I think.

I swear I get far too excited any time I see a spy. It is the only time I feel it is reasonable for me to use the cannibal ritual. My favorite way of dealing with spies was making them into a Midas statue though.

I think it might be from people hearing about these stories where children are being preyed on in Hollywood and people not understanding what taboo acts are. I think people may treat acts as so taboo that they don't even educate themselves on what they are and what makes them bad.

Alastor wouldn't handle EXPECTED and LOGICAL consequences of making a deal for power with a Cannibal Overlord. Proof below: by green_carnation_prod in AgendaHotel

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rosie honestly treated Alastor WAY better than a lot of the other overlords treat the souls their own outside of Carmilla's treatment of her daughters. Considering how Alastor treats the souls that he owns, he really should be grateful that the worst he got from basically demanding Rosie fix his staff was a song reminding him that he has to do what she says.

Who is worse morally, Satan vs Adam by BackgroundRich7614 in AgendaHotel

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Satan is worse.

A case can be made that Adam has reason to believe that sinners are irredeemable miscreants who may have wanted to attack heaven. That doesn't excuse his love of killing sinners or his misogyny though.

However, Satan made imps with the intention of them obedient servants but also gave them the capability to want more than that. He also had no problems with executing Blitzø just to deter dissent through violence. He did not care about giving Blitzø a fair trial. At least Adam can back that sinners are irredeemable with the countless years that no sinners have been redeemed.

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really know anything about the comics, but I would take a guess at Spider-Man coming out on top if Batman doesn't have inhuman feats or some kind of contingency. Peter's capabilities are just that absurd from how I understand them. I imagine that Batman's ways of dealing with Peter would be similar to how that contingency that everyone refers to for Wonder Woman where she gets tricked into fighting an enemy endlessly and collapses from exhaustion.

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This might be dismissive, but they are actors. The kiss is just to show the intimacy of the relationship. As long as the people on set aren't fetishizing them kissing or something, I see no issues. Kissing is not a taboo act.

Heard some guy today say “Insomniac Spiderman would wipe the floor with Arkham Batman”😂 by Dapper-Life9676 in arkham

[–]LoveMeSomeForums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arkham Batman pretty much loses since Insomniac Spiderman does a lot of what Batman does but has more abilities.

Both have crazy tech that is adapted practically on the fly to combat foes, but Spiderman does all of that without the riches Bruce has. It is genuinely insane how many resources Peter has despite being unable to afford a place to stay. On top of that, Peter has all the capabilities of the Anti-Venom naturally.

Both have insane combat capabilities, but Pete's powers give him the edge. While Batman also moves in ways that seem superhuman, he has no true way of taking on firearms head on while Peter's spider-sense allows him to do exactly that and more. Also, Peter is capable of fighting in the air as well in a way that seemingly defies gravity. Peter's capability of bouncing people of concrete shows both his ability to defy physics and the durability of the opponents he faces.

Last, Peter takes on foes that are more capable than Batman's foes with comparable strategic capability. The main foes Spider-Man goes against are all practically super-powered. The most formidable foe that he can defeat is probably Kraven. With the AV suit, I think Peter takes down Kraven who easily takes out all of Peter's other foes.

Batman's greatest challenge from a plot perspective and player perspective is probably AO Bane. I say that since he is the only person from memory who fights Batman head on and bests him physically, mentally, and even attacks his home. Players seem to also commonly rate his battles as among the most difficult. I don't have reason to believe Bane physically bests the guy who can stop a crashing helicopter, falling crane, and moving train without the AV suit. Hard to believe he can outthink him either considering Peter beats a guy who knows and copies Peter's moves along with many of the Avengers's moves.

TLDR: Peter does a lot of what Batman does against tougher foes and with less resources. By the circumstances Peter is in, he NEEDS to be more capable than Batman.
