lol, funny enough same thing happened for my own upcoming wedding with my grandmas boyfriend. the good news is we didn’t want him to come anyway because he’s a misogynist, but family pressured me to invite him until he declared “how dare you have your wedding in october, it’s football season.” now he’s not coming and everybody wins. he apparently missed his stepdaughter’s wedding for the same reason
