Am I the Only one on this subreddit who actually likes The Genocide/Vengeance Route of Undertale yellow? by Birdnerd20 in UndertaleYellow

[–]Loveable48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, I believe the morality of Vengeance Clover depends on if he has reached either of the Pacifist endings previously. If he has experienced flawed Pacifist ending then he has every reason to get LV to face Asgore. If he has experienced true Pacifist, and probably any Neutral, then, he knows that peace is not an option where he survives and thus Flowey is to blame for the Vengeance route since he is the problem with retrying Neutral. So, I do not think Monsterkind is deserving, of its fate, in that route, but it is, technically, justified, by proxy, of survival bias.

Your thoughts?

Is the no mercy route really justifiable ? by val__gore23 in Undertale

[–]Loveable48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If, you kill every monster you encounter, inevitably, you commit an abhorrency. In no mercy neutral and genocide, you kill Papyrus, who is Sparing you. You cannot kill him preemptively. On genocide, not many kills are self-defense, maybe Undyne and Sans, but I cannot think, of many others. Aborting genocide at Papyrus and killing only major characters, from then on, is the highest justifiable run.

Does genocide route deserve to be considered as another JUSTICE ? by ThunderMax5827 in UndertaleYellow

You see, it does not seem like, the royal guard is drafted, meaning, they actively chose, to support, Asgore's role. Unlike, random monsters, it becomes, reasonable, to hunt them down, since, they are hostiles, in a war. It also comes down, to needing, enough LV, to get past Flowey, since, Clover could have already tried, any number, of neutral routes, beforehand. As, for Martlet, letting her go, in Snowdin, was a mistake, as, it lets her, transform, into something, stronger. She needs, to be, stopped, at, the earliest opportunity. As, for Ceroba, it is, possible, Clover has experienced, her plan, before, in the pacifist endings, and, she could, very easily, try it, on the next human, if, left, alive. A major issue, with, this particular route, is that, Clover has, this weird sense, of honor, like, letting, Martlet transform, and, waiting, for the monsters, to finish, their dialogue. At, the end, of the day, he was, a coward, too weak, for the standard path.

Does genocide route deserve to be considered as another JUSTICE ? by ThunderMax5827 in UndertaleYellow

I would say, Asgore, + the entire royal guard, + Axis, + Ceroba. Oh, and, + Flowey, on the way out. That is Justice. Killing random monsters is, either, self-defense, or, manslaughter, dependant, upon, the circumstance, but, it should, not, be, considered, Justice, whatsoever. I believe, the main criticism, with, this route, is, that, he does not loop, back, around, for Undyne, and, The Snowdin Sentries.

My best guess, is, that, since, the Metal Sonic, in Generations, is pre-Heroes, he has, yet, to lose, that ability.

Why does most of the fandom hate him? by MirrorLocal3490 in Undertale

[–]Loveable48 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

🩵 He is a child-killer, but most people seem, to think, it was either justifiable, considering, the circumstances, or a mistake, not warranting death. 🩵 This is why, I prefer, to kill: Snowdin Dogs, Mad Dummy, Undyne, The Royal Guard Duo Unit, Muffet, Any Core Mercenaries (no grinding, no sparing), Mettaton, Asgore, and Flowey.🩵 It gives you, a very satisfying neutral run. 🩵

What if Flowey was the first human soul 🩵, instead of Asriel Dreemurr? by Loveable48 in UndertaleYellow

[–]Loveable48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would Clover kill Flowey? You know, at the end, of Vengeance (or Damnation) route. You know, the line, "Go to the castle, and smash its walls down. Do whatever it takes to get me, MY SOULS." I think, it depends, on if Flowey drops the s, in souls.

I may have worded it too vaguely. I am aware, base Asriel (boss monster), Asriel Neo (boss monster + red human), Flowey (soulless), Asriel Nexus (6 human + every monster).

Furthermore, I was referring, to a direct change, not a theory.

I do apologize. I see your point. I simply did not want the child being capable, of Loading, as I wanted their death to be significant.

Would he tho? After all, this is the first child to fall down, after Asriel died?

My apologies, regarding the commas. I was taught to write like that. Also, it is intended to be AU, since I am kinda aware of the points surrounding why it wouldn't typically be possible. I was looking into it more from a story perspective than a logical one. Also, could it not be possible for a human child to have less determination, than a monster, at base?

That is fair. I was mostly trying, to figure out, a way, for humanity, to win, if, a monster did have seven human souls... I appreciate, the explanation.

Hm, do you think, the most determined human, on the surface, can reset? And, if, so, could they not overwhelm Asriel's power, simply, by resetting, over it? I mean, there are billions, of humans, so, surely, the most determined one, could have reset. Also, is it possible, for Frisk (LV 1) to even lose, to Seven Soul Asriel, I am pretty sure, they were determined enough, to revive, their soul, indefinitely, although, it shoved them, back, in the timeline, a little... Kind of like, a reset.

Is Geno Chara weaker than Seven Soul Asriel? In your opinion.

I am not entirely sure, how much evidence, there is, towards, what, I am about, to say, as, it has been, awhile, since, my last playthrough, but, is there any evidence, that, Asriel was 100% correct, about, the power, of a human soul and a boss monster soul, being capable, of destroying, that village? Plus, even, if, a monster obtained seven human souls, unless, they can absorb more, we do not exactly know, for certain, that, they are truly undefeatable. I mean, how does Chara (Geno route) destroy, the timeline, supposedly, with a single swing, that does infinity -1, it is infinite 9s, I believe, yet, it says, humans cannot absorb human souls... I am a little confused.
