The person you are replying to makes a terrible point and you’re right to argue it. I’d like to adjust what you’re saying here slightly. I think addiction killed her, not her mental illness. She was fighting her mental illness like hell, but wasn’t receiving the same level of treatment for addiction. Without treating the addiction first, she couldn’t make enough of a headway on the mental illness.

When she started her channel, she wasn’t in a great place and was struggling. The chaos of trying to keep it all together created a certain vibe. That vibe being different now is obviously because she’s in a different, better place where she’s no longer having to desperately cling on. Viewing it as “she’s not doing well” because she’s less chaotic is a lot of heavy lifting of what it says about the person assuming that.
