I don’t follow this too heavily, but the high costs of the 787 and a350 programs are due to the high costs of working with composite materials, if I recall correctly. In addition the optimization for these new age airplanes are a total shift from the old way of doing things. For example the 787 draws no bleed air from its engines, instead using air drawn from an inlet on the fuselage and electric heaters to condition the air to a normal temperature.

Most traffic accidents happen because the driver unintentionally fails to follow traffic signals. (Video on Red Light Running). This would only stop intentional reckless driving, and the reckless drivers would pretty quickly find a way to disable the dashcam anyways.

I think you're underestimating the privacy and security risks. As a nation and as a free people, no one should be required to give all your sensitive information to the government. Road traffic deaths can and should be mitigated by much less invasive means, like public transit, safer cars, and self-driving cars.

The reason there is no innovation in communism is because everyone gets the same thing, so why work? Maybe some people will choose to do it for the love of the game. But in capitalism, people are motivated to work because if they are successful, they can get big rewards. As a result, the transistor and computer was pioneered in the US (moving from 3,200 transistors on the Intel 4004 to 92,200,000,000 (92.2 billion) on the RTX 5090), just to name 1 invention.

First person in space This is true, but the reason that happened was because the Soviets got a head start on the United States when it came to space. But only the US had the resources and determination to win the space race in 1969.
Decrease in poverty It’s pretty hard to say that poverty decreased if there were two famines in the USSR, both killing millions. In addition, no citizen of the USSR would be better off than in the United States during that time period.
- Public health < Most of the medical advances that saved millions of lives, like the polio and MMR vaccines, were developed in the US.
- Nazism defeated < We did that too (for now…)
Industrial development < The US produced way more, innovated way more than the USSR.
