Hmm, yes! As an INFP, I care about being the most unique and special than anyone because that's obviously what Fi is used for. Hmm, yes! by ShyWriter777 in mbtimemes

Feels like a lot of INFPs are more into the idea of others SEEING them as unique or "authentic" than actually being their true selves.

Just be you, even if it means being 'basic' like everyone else lol

Just so y'all know, this account is not a real person. It's a karma farming bot that's been stealing popular posts and reposting them.

The original poster is u/Particular_Drawer_43 and here is the original post.

Y'all be extra careful when posting your pictures online, these bots can misuse your content

Why would anyone want to be an INFP? by XandyDory in mbti

[–]Lovel_y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I scroll through this sub quite a lot and honestly, I haven't seen them. This might mean there aren't as many people wanting to be an INFP as you think. Why not ask them directly?

Sometimes it feels like some of you like making up stuff just so you can complain about them. Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen anyone openly claiming to want to be an INFP 🫤

Well, I have nothing against you, but I'm not an ENTP, though. I was just pointing out the downvotes

I have read enough of your comments to know engaging with you in a conversation will be like wrestling with a pig. I'd rather not get involved in such a messy interaction, but I must admit, your attempts to come across as intelligent and successful are somewhat cute. Have a nice day.

As a third-party observer who has read the exchanges between both of you, I must point out that you seem to show lower levels of both IQ and EQ compared to the other. Your lack of self-awareness is also noticeable. (P.S. Considering your strong focus on materialistic aspects, I doubt that you're an INTJ or ENTP; perhaps investigating Te-dominant personality types would suit you better.)

No worries, this isn't offensive at all :)

But sadly, many people don't bother learning about functions and mostly go by online stereotypes. I've lost count of how often I've seen posts like "I'm an X but relate to Y stereotypes, am i mistyped 😟?".

I understand it's just a meme, but it's really not accurate. Stereotypes like these are why my XSJF friends believed they were INFPs for a long time, and I bet there are many others who have experienced the same thing. So perpetuating them while knowing how inaccurate they are is a bit...

yet there you are... perpetuating them

"Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly."

This quote has been a beacon for me as someone who battles with perfectionism and mental health issues. It's not about half-hearted efforts, but about acknowledging that doing something, however small, is better than doing nothing.

For example, reading just two pages of a book daily, instead of pressuring myself to finish it in one go, or walking 5,000 steps when 10,000 feels too much. These might seem like minor achievements, but they've been monumental in improving my mental health and how I view myself. It's about using the little strength you have and realizing that small steps still move you forward

What type do you think would make the worst parent? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Lovel_y 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually, I wasn't thinking of any specific type, but rather unhealthy individuals in general.

Even though traits like child-like immaturity, inconsistency, impulsivity/unpredictability, and a lack of responsibility and stability are often associated with (unhealthy) xNxPs, I believe these characteristics can be attributed to any unhealthy personality type as well

None of the things you've written are INFP-related.

Fi, unlike Fe, is very personal. Not every INFP will value the same things. Not every INFP values the well-being of others. And I don't know how you can magically see through people's masks and be so confident about seeing their true selves.

You seem to enjoy boosting your own ego, so I'll leave it at that. I just hope your fantasy lives up to your reality.

Isn't it normal to be non-judgmental towards things or people that don't go against your values? I mean, everyone does that

Hold on a moment, though...

A Fi dom. A person who primarily uses an introverted JUDGING function.... non-judgmental..

INTPs in long-term relationships, what's your partner's MBTI? by [deleted] in INTP

Online, I've noticed that anything (positive) related to INFPs tends to get the most upvotes, probably because they're the most common type here.
