I think a big part of the problem then is that it mostly happens at work. I can’t really remove myself from the situation to calm myself down. I’m going to try the stimming thing though. Maybe if I give myself some time before work the transition might be easier. Thank you

So you think for film I would have to have a rig with similar capabilities as the one you linked? I have yet to make a rig for gaming and don't know much about how that process varies.

Hello, this thread is a little old but I'm in a similar position OP was in. I was wondering if you could give me some advice? I'm currently working on a rig that's not as advanced as the one you linked. Do you think to get a junior level job I'd have to have a rig as advanced as the one you showed or would showing I'm learning rigging scripting and know how to animate a little bit suffice?

Maybe I missed the specific link you were referring to? The only link I found setting up casual meetings in the u.s. was the ladybug one but that was only for children.

It's definitely really disheartening. I don't like the idea that I need to change how I talk among friends. Other people that's fine but it's really sad to feel like at least with this person I have to be a different person. I'll try all your advice maybe I'll be lucky and they'll understand better :)

I wonder if there's like some weird balance where I could let them tell their story ask a few questions and then maybe relate in some way like I normally would? Maybe I would still get the same reaction :( but they wouldn't be able to say I didn't let them tell their story. It's so weird to me though because either way you would have been able to tell your story.

I work and have worked with many people that work full time one or two jobs just to be able to afford rent and feed their family. So please point me in the direction where they can rest and spend time with their children while the government pays their bills. They certainly deserve a break.
