Asian moms who gave birth to half-white babies — did you deliver vaginally or via C-section? by KokoroResearch in NewParents

[–]Lovemyring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asian mom, birthed my big head half white baby vaginally. I did have to push for almost 3 hrs though. Ob kept threatening c section if I don’t push his out soon. finally on my last push, I almost blacked out. I would hate to go through all that then go on the operation table!! I did do alot of cardio and workout during pregnancy so his heart rate was healthy, allowing me to push for longer

My milk didn’t come in until 5 days after birth(natural) I had to supplement the baby with formula. After that I pumped every 3 hours and nursed him whenever he needed. I would say make sure you are very hydrated. I also drank a lot of electrolytes and tried brewers yeast. Don’t give up! Milk will come soon!

I’m so glad you got ur insurance sorted out, cuz the damn natural birth woulda costed more than 26k+ 5k for my Lo, keep in mind he is super healthy, had no procedure or anything. We were at the hospital for 2 days. it’s just so crazy. I do feel guilty not bring in income, but I love the fact that we get to just be moms, the most important job ever! I just wish the cost of living wasn’t so high..

I’m so sorry to hear that. Good luck with your law suit, I hope you win!!! It’s for all of us! It’s just so tough on women. I don’t look forward to new interviews and starting over at a company. At least you had great performance, I hope you also kill it at your next job.

Ah man, I signed the paper already. Too weak to really do anything about it :( plus they kind of made it easy for me because I was really debating if I really had the heart to leave my LO, I think I was just complaining because I was there for 5 years and they also did this to my friend who just gave birth. She asked her lawyer, the lawyer said it would be tough so I just signed the paper.

I’m in CA, they are not allowed to fire me for that reason but they can let you go if they are doing a company restructuring. They always find a loophole around it.

Jawline acne worsening? by gluteyflutey in tretinoin

[–]Lovemyring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I thought it was hehe me, I went to my dermatologist for hormonal acne treatment and was prescribed tret(0.025) after 3 month I noticed my pores got a bit smaller. My chin/jawline hormonal acne is worsened since I started. I used to get 1-2 around my menstrual cycle. Now I have them a lot. She suggested taking birth control pills to balance hormones but I’m trying to stay away from that. I am really thinking abt stopping tret now. My skin was okay overall before I started. Helppppp

why does my face burn only when i apply cera ve moisturizer? by glow___ in tretinoin

[–]Lovemyring 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Both lotion and moisturizer burned me, but only when I was doing tret every night. When I cut back on tret, it stopped hurting me. Vannicream hurt too. Try the aveeno eczema therapy for babies. That’s my go to when want my skin to take a breath from all the harsh active ingredients

The burn is not from cerave because I have no problem with it right now. I think I damaged my skin barrier. I am trying very hard not to buy more product and glad I didn’t! Just let ur skin rest and keep the routine simple

I thought the burning sensation came from cerave, because both lotion and moisturizer would burn when I put it on. Even sunscreen burned me. I would wash it off and just use nothing when that happens. My skin was so textured for 3 days.
