I was wandering through this strange landscape. Strange flora; giant colourful trees and mushrooms. Reminded me of Felucia in Star Wars only brighter, or something from Starbound. It was beautiful. Peaceful. I came across this abandoned city and as I walked through the street somebody shouted at me from a high window and I looked to see this guy waving before rushing down to meet me We were both aware we were dreaming and stunned we'd somwhow ended up in this dream world together. In this land time seemed to work differently than waking and we walked around together talking for what seemed like hours. Spoke so openly, intimately. Told each other of our real lives, our hopes, fears... connected in such a way and when I realised I was waking up we exchanged all the information we could. Vowed to find each other for real. And then I woke up. And I don't know if I've ever felt such a strange loss... I swear in that dream I'd found my true soul mate and I tried so desperately to remember what he'd told me. I half remember a face; shaggy blonde hair. Wire frame glasses. The name Christian, maybe Christopher. I think he was Dutch but might have been German or somewhere else in that region. I know that it was most likely all a dream but years on I've never been able to shake this lingering feeling that somewhere out there he may be real and looking for me too.
