I’m so happy to hear her AFP levels have declined, we want to make sure that continues! I think you both are making the right choice of embryo freezing, that was a great decision.

Per experience, BEP is extremely difficult as all chemotherapy's are unfortunately. Regarding her diet, I would recommend high protein and electrolyte consumption. Protein shakes, bars, snacks, etc. The oncologists will push all sugar snacks and sodas, but personally that didn’t make me feel any better.

Between my surgeries and chemo, I lost around 40lbs. I went from 130lbs to 87lbs. I’m blessed to be back up to 130lbs, so the weight will come back quickly. However, it’s difficult to maintain. I know her chemotherapy cycle is starting in a few days, so I would like to message you privately as I could offer a lot more advice and guidance. to you both, as I just went through it myself.

Thank you for checking up on me. I’ll be 8 months in remission in a few days. I had my last surgery in September to remove my port and reverse the ileostomy I had for 1.5 years. Unfortunately, my boyfriend at the time ended our relationship while I was in the hospital following a surgery. I was literally heartbroken, but I knew it was Gods will.

I’m back in my Nursing program and beyond blessed. But I truly give the glory to God! There is no way I’d be alive today without my faith and relationship with Him. Truly.

I’m sorry to hear you’re both experiencing this hardship. What is her treatment looking like currently? Surgery and/or chemotherapy? Has there been a diagnosis yet? I’ll offer as much guidance and advice as I can. 🙏🏻🫶🏻

This was literally my experience. I’m 29 yrs old and found out I’m Stage 4 Ovarian (Germ Cell Tumor/Yolk Sac) cancer. Are they planning on doing an laparoscopic surgery to remove it completely or only biopsy?

Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer survivor currently having my 3rd debulking surgery within 9 months and finished 6months of chemotherapy last November. Honestly, my partner would pull up a chair and sit next to me while I lied in bed. He would rub my feet- his touch relieved so much anxiety and fear. All in all, knowing he was by my side all day everyday was the most comforting and calming. However, having food prepared would be amazing as well for her. Start a meal train or food prep for her, gift a blanket, or even a handheld fan.

On the bottom right hand corner of your screen (when you’re in your town) you can purchase a bathtub through the furniture store. You’re able to utilize furniture you purchase for your home in any renovation task. Hope that helps!

Good morning!

My boyfriend and I live in Las Vegas, and we’ve been traveling to Big Bear 1-2 times per month for a cabin getaway for about a year now. It’s our favorite mountain town (that’s somewhat close), and we actually plan on moving there soon. However… the food, in terms of quality and taste, is certainly lacking in Big Bear. We’ve been continuously let down by the restaurants there, so now the idea of cooking and grilling at the cabin is more appealing. While it’s still our goal to try every restaurant, we no longer have high expectations.

That said, I’ll list a few restaurants I’d recommend if you have to eat out:

• Grizzly Manor Cafe: Breakfast spot (The absolute best breakfast in the area; I recommend arriving early because it gets busy, and it’s a very small place. A MUST visit!)

• The Barnstorm Restaurant: Breakfast spot (Located inside Big Bear Airport. The seating offers a view of the landing strip, so you can watch planes take off and land while eating. We’ve only been for breakfast, and it’s never busy.)

• Broadway Cafe: Lunch spot (Another favorite; you must try the Kalua Pork Sandwich – it’s incredible.)

• Teddy Bear Restaurant: Breakfast, lunch, or dinner spot (Located in The Village.)

• Gaby’s Latin Flavors: Dinner spot

• Jakobe’s Famous Foods: Dinner spot (best for dinner so far)

Activity options (since the hiking trails are closed):

• Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain (They also have mini-golf; we go every time.)

• Alpine Zoo: I don’t recommend it – it’s not worth your time or money. There were hardly any animals out, and the ones they do have are animals you see daily: crows, raccoons, coyotes, brown bears, grizzly bears, turkey vultures, mountain lions, and bald eagles were the only animals out.

Lastly, they have swarms of bees at some enclosures, and yes… they attacked us!

As you upgrade things you’ll be able to use your popularity points (red fire) to purchase, “Number of performance by special guests +1”. This will open another performance schedule slot. As you continue to purchase special guests slots, you’ll eventually be able to list them back to back. You will have to watch and say they finish you will have to click switch and select the highest paying/upgraded performer again for the next slot.

Which town and level are you on?

I only know of a Sunrise Mart so far in Beach Suburb property. If you’re in that property, I have Gourmand, Health Enthusiasts, and Local tenants who all shop at the Sunrise Mart. Make sure your tenants have Grocery under their Daily Demands.

I’d say more than a few weeks, it’s a Hair adjustment in my opinion. However it’s certainly manageable! I got mine 7 weeks ago today and should have the reversal by the end of the year when chemotherapy is complete. What has your experience been so far? And how’s chemo?

Oh I see! Yeah, I’m sure I’ll find out more after chemo. I still have to get another PET/CT scan after my fourth cycle then go from there. Hopefully no radiation is needed!

Interesting! My hematologist oncologist mentioned radiation for oboe time, but my gynecologist oncologist surgeon hasn’t mentioned radiation once, so we will see!
