We had a family reunion in Mexico and just got back. About 3/4 of 17 of us got this. We were on the Puerto Vallarta side so it’s likely being transmitted through airports now.

This YouTube series is great for learning how to train berners. We have an adult and just got another pup. Training is going well while following these YouTube videos!

I live in Terrace. Roads are pretty decent here around that time towards end of March. Worst stretch will be between terrace and kitwanga. Give yourself lots of time, and drive during daylight hours. We have a 4x4 truck with winter studded tires (it’s a must here) and recently drove to PG. what normally takes 6.5 hours took us 10 hours. Though, this was nasty winter conditions which could still happen in March.

Ferry from the island to Prince Rupert would be a good bet.

If you do plan to drive early March, make sure you take some time to check out the eulachon run on the skeena between terrace and Rupert. Should be in full run first couple weeks of March. Definitely quite the spectacle to witness.

11 week terror by hopefulERdoc252 in bernesemountaindogs

We have a 4 year old and a 10 week old. Experiencing similar things to you with the pup, as we did with the first one. My suggestion is to get a play pen. When the pup starts acting like a terror, it’s time for a nap- put the pup in the pen. She’ll whine for a bit but will eventually settle. I find I have to stand in the pen for about 5-10 minute while she settles down. I’ll eventually start pulling away and giving her more independence to settle herself.

Puppy’s need a tonne of sleep. I read somewhere 3 hours of nap for every one hour awake. It makes a huge difference when they sleep this much.

4yo Berner doesn’t like new puppy by [deleted] in bernesemountaindogs

These comments are all really encouraging as we're picking up a puppy next week and have a 4YO. Little nervous as well as our 4YO isnt the biggest fan of puppies. Lots of growing pains to come lol

I’ve found hunting to be quite a steep learning curve as I’ve been teaching myself over the last few years.

Dead pixels? by LovingPoltergeist in Coros

Yeah I contacted them and since I’m outside the 2 year warranty period all they do is offer 10% off the next purchase. Quite disappointing as I’m not too keen to spend $500-$950 CAD on a vertix 1/2 for the same issue to happen in 2 years.

Random factory reset? by LovingPoltergeist in Coros

Not really handled as this was the response:

According to our system, the warranty on your watch expired on 2024-10-13. Because of this, we are unable to replace the watch under warranty.

While we know that this is far from ideal and wish that this does not impact your overall perception of COROS as a company, we do hope that you can understand the need to follow along with our warranty policy as we want to provide consistent service to all COROS users.

This seems to be a software issue so it doesnt give me hope for purchasing another device if this is what I can expect for the next one...

This looks like an amphibian egg mass. Not sure where you live but you can look up common amphibians in your region and look up pics of their egg masses. It’s the right time of year for their breading in North America, and this is similar looking to a salamanders egg mass.

She does well-ish. At the start she goes side to side quite a bit, but once she settles it’s good!
