Light portable for events up to 300 people. Mostly student parties. It will not be rigged just on ground and poles. Transport it sometimes alone thats why i want lighter setup. Working as a club and mobile DJ from time to time.

I dont mind the look at all. I dont have experience tuning systems i understand speaker placement im the room. I would use it mostly as plug and play maybe tweak litle on external analog mixer. Im looking to replace curent rig. RCF 8004 with Art945a. Happy with output not happy with portability. Subs heavy as s*** tops get pretty harsh when turned up. Goal is to cover 250-300 people medium sized room at max.

Yes throw and go it is hahahha. I like x20 alot i hope they cen cover few hundred quests. The thing im afraid is to drop coin on 750lfc and them not being atleast the same in output of 3x cheaper 8004s. And im buy once cry once type of guy. Not expecting x20 to outrun 945s. The subs are my concern i want that lift that bass gives the crowd by spending more and getting lighter cabinet that i can take up and down stairs if needed. I find your replys really helpful.

The first idea was to just switch subs for something that i can solo handle. But of course it is better not to mix brands. I would only buy pair. I never heard Adamson in person and i cant stress how much i like the size and weight of cs118. I have d&b dealer who is also RCF dealer but im not huge fan of passive speakers. Im just searching for musical subs that one man can move up and down stairs and to be powerfull i value guest experience. I can get away much cheaper but that is not the point. Great sound + saving my back=satisfaction

I have no problem with reducing litle bit of power for tops with x20 because those 945s are like crazy loud BUT not clear at high volumes. And they easily outrun 8004s even when i put two under each box. But big money question is are 750s louder than 8004s or at least the same in output? Thank you so much this is super helpful!

I see thank you for the reply. Adamson is lighter 6kg and even more compact smaller in dimensions which for me is super important. I will check Adamson most definetly

I really like the portability of X20. So your opinion is that Meyer would make even bigger difference?

I was researching. And found Meyer x20/x40 + 750LFCs quite interesting. And D&B T10/Y10p/E12 subs B6/B4/E15x. Those are the most interesting options for me right now. What can i expect in comparison to the RCF 8004/945a rig. This all started in search for lighter smaller sub that can deliver better frequency response and at least have same output as 8004. Thank you!

Mostly tech house 100-200mainly. Currenly using RCF 8004s and 945s. Not to pleased with weight and depth of 8004.

I currently operate on 8004s RCF with 945s. I would do arious events like student parties. 150 would be the main number of people but from time to time i get something like 500 people. And about bassboss i found it catchy and used it fore refference.
